Very pricey for Osaka, the location is also pretty good. The hostel itself doesent really seem social and the hallways reminded me off my last stay in a hospital in eastern europe. Staff is friendly and the rooms are super if you want some time with yourself.

¥1 700/night for a single room is hard to beat. You're close to JR Shin-Imamiya station which is good for taking the Osaka loop line or making a day trip to Nara. The subway is even closer. Osaka can also be a good base for Kansai exploration. Staff is very friendly. I arrived earlier than check-in time and wanted to...

Stayed here for 6 nights in September. I made this a base for a week for my visit to Nara, Kyoto, Hiroshima apart from seeing Osaka. It offers single Tatami mat room for JPY 1700 (with a fan). Location is great. Midosuji on the subway and Shin-Imamiya (JR Line) stations are nearby. You can catch a Nara Train from here....

I booked a single room. The room size wasn't big but it's good enough. At least I could get some privacy in Osaka with this price instead of mixed dorm at hostel. Bathroom facilities are complete and very clean. It's just in a walking distance to Shinsekai area where you can hangout and drink in Japanese way. The transportation is...

I stayed in Hotel Toyo Osaka last week. It was wonderful experience. Room was very basic with fan, open cupboard and bedding. I opted for non ac room as it was pleasant autumn season in Osaka. Room was typical tatami room. I stayed on 3rd floor in single room and it was perfect for one person. This hotel has 3...

Close to train station, couple shops around, 7eleven close by as well so even late at night you can still go for midnight shopping :D. Overal really...

I stayed at this hostel for 3 nights with my partner in a private room. It is certainly value for money. 5 minute walk to the JR Osaka loop line. Which was great! We were able to utilise our JR pass to get around. The area is not the best but it's got a vibe to it. A bar for...

after travelling for 48 hours, i was delighted to find that I had booked a private room at this hotel. The room was nice and spacious, however the downside was that there was no air-conditioning in the room, and when it was 39c outside, it became unbearable inside. For the price of this room, you cannot moan, it is an...

Have been staying there for 3 nights. The common room area is very nice and was always busy. They have a Nintendo and PlayStation there as well as a kitchen area to prepare food. My room (they are all private rooms) didn't have an AC but a fan which was fine as I usually don't really like ACs. However, I...
