Our main reason for visiting Osaka is going to Universal Studios! If that’s yours too then this hotel is the perfect place to stay in. You can buy your tickets there so you do not need to line up at the park! This is a must! Buy your tickets ahead of time and avoid same day purchase is you can!! It’s a little expensive but you get your money’s worth. This is the 2nd time we stayed here and both have been pleasant. It’s in a very convenient location close to the park, the city walk and the Universal station. The room we stayed at is big and all the toiletries you’ll need are provided. Also I just found out that they offer courier service (domestic only I think) and it was such a great help so I didn’t need to haul all our stuff by myself and 2 young kids. The lady there and the hotel staff who assisted me in translating are super helpful!! Highly recommend this hotel!…
we booked via Agoda and first impression as we walk to the hotel is "classy". at the front desk we realize it is on a lower level while i request upper level. the response came " it is expensive". well this is what i was expecting. A better response could have been 'let me give you the price difference 'and then let the customer make the judgement whether it is expensive or not. so now we are stuck at lower level because they believe it is expensive. Check in was at 3 so once we came back based on our experience with other hotels would have expected the bags to be in our rooms already but that did not happen either. The room itself is not so great. As you enter the room the lights dont come off automatically. the switch is located at the bed rest right in the middle. so one has to go around the bed and turn on the lights in the dark. #Tip - Leave the corridor light on. Internet is shared with everyone i think hence its open and no password. its slow and in current day/age we would expect these basic things to be available at ease. as a traveler i am surely after experience which is lacking so far. advantage of staying here - Universal studios is right outside this hotel. This is the only advantage. Please weigh your experience against Convinience and if you are after convenience then this is not a bad place to stay with kids.…
7 staff standing around just 3 more checking people in. 45 mins in queue. Worst first impression of any hotel anywhere in the world. Nightmare with kids excited to go to universal studios then standing around for 45 mins - never again
A great place to stay and convenient if you are planning on staying near Universal Studios Japan (USJ). It is literally a stone throw away from USJ. Room is quite spacious for Japanese standard which is a plus. It also has a self service coin-operated laundry and dryer facility which is very convenient and easy to operate. Breakfast spread is reasonably good, plenty of choices. I love the toiletries provided in the room, I must say I used all of them. The shower was awesome, one of the best shower ever, super strong. The Hotel is only 3 to 5 minutes walk to the nearest train station, Universal City and the train can easily take you to the city centre in Osaka. Extra thanks to Morioka at the Front Desk who assisted us during our check in and helped us arrange our transportation. He was one of the few staff who could actually speak English. Overall my stay at the Hotel was good.…
The Park Front Hotel is one of my favorite hotels in Japan! I was a little skeptical when booking it but I have no regrets at all. For us, location and customer service were key factors when choosing our accommodation and this hotel does not disappoint. Location: It's very easy to get from both Itami and Kansai airport to this hotel. The airport limousine bus drops you off and picks you up at a bus stop near USJ, about a 5-10 minute walk away from the hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located near to USJ and we were able to get a re-entry stamp when showing our tickets booked through the hotel. (This lets you leave the park to eat, shower, drop off your stuff etc.) We only spent 1 1/2 days at USJ and the rest of the time exploring Osaka, Kyoto, Nara. The USJ station is only 2 stops from Nishikujō Station where you can change trains to Dotonbori, Kuromon Market, Kyoto, Nara... It's about 20 minutes away from Dotonbori which we went to every night after USJ closed. There are multiple Lawson convenience stores located near the hotel, one is even within the hotel building. Midnight snacking encouraged ;) Customer Service: Service was excellent at the hotel. The staff were attentive and professional to answer our every query even at midnight (!) They helped us book USJ tickets, look up directions and reviews of places we wanted to go to, help us figure out our airport limo back to the airport...To me this service was very valuable. Having someone to help in a country where we couldn't speak or read the language is so important. Value: I noticed some reviews mentioning how expensive the food was in the hotel when I was booking. It is a little more expensive but if it bothers you just don't eat in the hotel? Universal City Walk is right outside the hotel with other options like MOS Burger (yum). Consider exploring other places in Osaka for your meals. There's so much good food to try!…
