Just finished staying here for two nights. Right from the get go the staff were lovely and spoke great English. The room was awesome and the guide material provided was also very useful. Then when my friend lost his cards in Nagasaki the staff were very helpful, calling the tram service and restaurant we thought they were and then sending... More

Friendly place, well-run. Lots of good info posted. Clean facility. Centrally located, within easy walk of much of downtown Nagasaki and to tram ways. Guests an eclectic mix, many friendly and willing to exchange experiences. Often have short volunteer-led walks of nearby Nagasaki. Nagasaki is full of history. One of East Asia's first outward-looking ports. Do recommend you read the... More

Nice location by the river, less than a five-minutes walk from the tram stop (which in turn is just a short and cheap tram ride from the bus and train stations). Very nice staff that spoke good English. Loved the local map with recommendations they provided. Common area doesn't have a lot of seatings, but it pleasant. Dorm was more... More

Well located at the river-front (near the bridges) this hostel offers spacious and clean rooms, a good kitchen, good bathrooms with hot water and good water-pressure. The common-area is great to meet fellow travelers and wifi is fast and stable. The staff professional but doesn't go out of their way to be friendly. They do speak english, though and can... More

Unfortunately I couldn't make it to Nagasaki because of the earthquake that happened in April 16. I contacted the hostel and they were very understanding and helpful. I got a money refund offered without questions. I do hope to stay there next time I visit Japan.

Great location & very accessible//easy to navigate. Friendly patrons & staff. I recommend bringing something soft like a sweater to put over the pillow...it is one of those bean bag pillows that take getting use to.

We stayed for 3 nights in a private double room. The room was a decent size, bathroom facilities were old but working fine, the bed was very uncomfortable though. The girls at reception seemed to be in a bad mood every time we asked them something, very unusual for Japan. The guys who work there were very friendly though. They... More

It's not too far from Nagasaki station about 15-20 min walk depending on your speed. You can take the tram which is only about 4 mins or so as explained on their website. Its super clean, quiet and the front desk is super helpful. We had a mixed dormitory but I think they had put all female in it so... More

We had a good stay at this hostel, nothing to complain about! It's a 15min walk from the station and the desk is extremely helpful! There is good wifi, a kitchen and useful maps at the hostel! While it's a little bit of a walk out of the main area, it's only 10mins and it's a nice walk! If you... More

I spent a couple of nights here with my 3 teenagers. We shared a 4-bed dorm room which was small, but perfectly comfortable. Quarters might be a little close for people less well-acquainted with each other, but we were perfectly happy. The staff were very helpful, pointing us towards reasonably-priced parking and good restaurants nearby, checking on opening hours of... More

“There are four floors and no elevators if you have trouble with stairs request something on the second floor. The doors to the bathrooms and showers, on the fourth floor, stick and are loud when opened and closed, if you are a light sleeper request a room a bit further away. Also expect to have to make up the beds yourself and upon check out take your sheets to the laundry basket found in every hallway.”
