The hotel and its rooms are beautiful and I doubt you will find better rooms any where in Fukuoka. All rooms have an incredible view over Nagasaki city which means the hotel is at the top of a hill. I stayed 2 nights and had transport to and from the hotel, taxis may be the only way to get to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, but I do feel we should have done 4 nights! Hotel is up on the mountain, great view, we are not bothered to go to the observation for the night, it's enough to do it in hotel. Chic, stylish and fashion, all staff are friendly and helpful, attentive but not over. Room and bathroom... More

It was a most wonderful two nights that we stayed in this well located hotel! Well located in the sense of it has a most wonderful Nagasaki night view up on the hill surpass any hotels crowded in the city. We had a Habour suite room, very spacious, and every thing in the mini bar in the room are free.... More

We arrived at Nagasaki and drove up the hill, eagerly awaiting the arrival of this hotel in front of our eyes. When we finally entered the hotel premises, what first impressed us was a guy in suit greeting our car on the driveway. He was holding a list with guests checking in that day. We were told to go to... More

This hotel offers the most amazing views on beautiful Nagasaki and the modern design of this unique place is just great. The room allocated to us on the 5th floor was marvelous. The staff did everything to make us feel comfortable but despite the first impression the hotel gives, they don't seem to be fully set up to host international... More

We just returned from a 3 day stay at the Garden Terrace Hotel. First of all, it is high up in the hills with commanding views. It looks sterile at first, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Th tasteful minimalist decor is comfortable-form does follow function. The staff were amazingly helpful and attentive. Although we usually do not... More

This hotel could have been perfect, but wasn't. I'm not sure it's really set up to deal with non-Japanese guests, or perhaps we were unlucky. Good things: The rooms are beautiful to look at, and the bedroom, lounge area and bathrooms are of a very high standard. The staff try incredibly hard to be helpful. Not so good None of... More

Amazing views, spectacular staff, and beautiful rooms. We checked into to garden terrace, and I never wanted to leave! The hotel is perched on a hillside over nagasaki's bay. You have to take the hotel shuttle or quasi-expensive taxi to get to town, so it's not ideal if being in the urban mix is your goal. But for a relaxing,... More

Stayed one night at the tower suite during our recent self-drive vacation in North Kyushu. Impressions are: - Secluded location. It's a great spot if you want privacy as the road there is narrow (by US standards) and winding. The hotel comprises 6-7 architecturally interesting buildings scattered over the undulating property. The tower suite we stayed at is at one end... More
