The Good: Clean hotel and the beds are a bit firm but comfortable. Breakfast included was ok. Bit lacking in variety and a bit bland but did the job. Most of the staff very kind and friendly. The Bad: Very spotty wifi. Did not work most of the time I was there. I mentioned to hotel and they said they would do something but nothing was done. Perhaps it was my room locaiton but still bad experience nonetheless. Good Wifi is a must these days! One Staff member was unprofessional, condescending and rude. Looked at me from a distance with a smirky grin. He also presented himself and the hotel badly exposing full arm tattoos. He should work in the cooking area away from Customers. Then again, who knows what he would do with the food. Watch out for him. He is the rude and unhappy looking one with arm tattoos! …
The reasons for me to come back and to stay a second time is the good hot shower, the comfortable bed and its location with a convenient store around the corner and Jalan Alor to be within walking distance (10-minute walk). However, I'm not pleased with the staff. My first stay here they forgot to clean the room. And the room will not be cleaned when the cleaning staff finished working. So the second time I tried to make sure they won't forget. I notified the front desk and when I came back they again didn't clean the room and yes of course no cleaning staff available. Upon check-in, there is one particular female staff who doesn't seem to understand how things work. I know she's trying her best but she is not fit for this job. When I checked out the first time, she already gave me a hard time. Tips for the manager: - inform the guests if they want their room to be cleaned they should make that possible before the cleaning staff punch out - add teaspoons in the room - get rid of that front desk personnel (it's a tough world) or get her the proper training, the guests should have a good first impression…
I booked the Superior Plus Room from 26 Oct to 29 Oct (Deepavali Weekend). Overall, it is a new or refurbished hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. It is located conveniently near BTS or KLCC or Pavillion and other shopping destination Via Grab. But it is a walkable distance if you wish to take their train. It is also near Chinatown and other eateries like KFC and 7 Eleven. This hotel wins in terms of location and convenience. The room was spacious and everything seems to be in order. No complaints here on the room and bathroom. I also bought the breakfast package and I would say it was basic with fried rice, fried noodles and a few western bits like scrambled eggs, sausages, chicken ham. Basic but I think they could add in improvements for more local varieties like Nasi Lemak, Rendang, Roti Canai etc. But I think for breakfast it is okay with what they serve. However, I was not pleased with the hotel for not providing housekeeping on the third day. I informed the check-in counter staff for housekeeping before heading out and when I got back to my room, it wasn't done. I surfaced this to the staff during the check-out and the reason gave was lack of manpower. I think it is a minor issue and I hope they would be efficient just to do a quick tidy up and change towels and provide the toothbrushes. Overall, the hotel is great even though there was a bit of hiccup for the housekeeping. But good location to consider if you wish to save money on Grab to travel.…
The location is far from train station by walk around 10 mins. The room is little small but we love the big king size bed so much, very comfy bed. The bathroom is quite small but we love the electric mirror. There are free laundry room for selfservice. The lobby is very good smell, feel comfortable, friendly staff but the breakfast is not much various to choose and cold food. Please improve for this matter.
The best place I could find in KL to stay under budget. It is near to the City Center. Breakfast was good. Lord Ganesha Temple is very nearby, and Indian restaurant which serves vegetarian food as well. The place very near to Pudu Central. There are many shops like Mcdonalds, KFC, 7Eleven etc. 15 minutes walk to KL forest area and KL Tower.
Very well maintained hotel, very clean and with a helpful staff and it also has right next door a small Indu temple that is used by locals that contrasts very much to the Batu Caves which is more of a tourist attraction by now filled with tourists amongst the Indus that use it. Unfortunately, the day I stayed was one of the three Malaysian National Holidays and full and close to the closing time of breakfast the buffet was empty with a very tired staff and I hardly ate anything and it was difficult to obtain simple things like milk, more bread and the such ! As we had arrived at 1.00 am and very tired, we woke up late and the staff had no problem to let us check out at 2 PM instead of 12 as I did not want to leave my luggage in storage because of the full occupancy !
We stayed 5 nights at this hotel and were so happy with its facilities. Starting for the location: walking distance to Chinatown and to the free bus stops to visit every place in the city. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. You can do laundry for free at the rooftop. Good wifi, good food at the restaurant. They change breakfast menu every day. I would repeat for sure.
The only reason I booked this hotel was because it’s affordable and close to the city centre. The front desk people are also very helpful. The two things I didn’t like about the hotel where check in and check out times and cleanliness. Good for people who want to stay overnight or 2 nights and don’t have time to waste on commuting. They offer to keep your bags even if you’re checked out. Which was helpful considering check out time was 12pm and my flight was 11:55 pm. That way you can still have the freedom to go out.
The location is right next to china town, so it was perfect for us. We used Grab to get quick taxi’s around town, to KLCC Park, to the Batu caves. As for the hotel, the room was spacious and clean. The shower was perfect. Large selection of items to choose from at breakfast. Staff were very helpful. If I’m ever in Kuala Lumpur again, I’ll definitely return!
Hotel was well located in KL, nearby have LRT and bus station. Petaling Street and other tourist spots are just nearby. The staffs are helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Definitely will come back when I visit KL next time.
