Detailed Reviews
i was greet by a very friendly front desk staff, check in was smooth & with welcome drink, they use UV sanitized my card & id before return back to me. the 1st thing i enter the room was surprise by the auto roll up blinds, it makes me feel welcoming. room's quality is good, i love that u can dim the light in diff level. i checked in during weekend, frond desk staff told me tat due to high volume of guess, i can choose to have my breakfast serve in the room (which ady included in my room price) at any time! this is a BIG PLUS! due to convid pandemic, in room dining can help to avoid crowded area like restaurant.
there is some improvement work needs to be done, especially the bathroom area. i can hear the water splashing, draining sound from above & next door. some noise from corridor. sound proof quality needs some improvement.
overall i am happy with the service, will recommend & return again!

I have had the best experience ever in my lifetime of staying in hotels for staycation. I had my booking on 26th April to celebrate an anniversary but due to leave issue had to postponed this to 28th April check in. To my suprise upon checking in room was nicely decorated by our sweetheart host Stephanie Yap she and the team was so thoughtful to decorate the room with rose petals and complimentary chocolates. This was beyond my knowledge as it was already a belated but no doubt I'm grateful to the ruma team.
I'd like to say the Hotel is very thoughtful, I've never seen hotel who provide bath salt, loofah, and floss and even different colored toothbrushes to avoid confusion which is very well thought of.
Also the complimentary mini bar snack upon check in is very considerate. I'm also very pleased with the hotel interior it make you feel like stepping into a secret world full of heritage luxury.
The best part is the flexible check in and out!! Well done guys you really earn some token for this as none of the hotel have that flexibility please maintain this. Also the other plus point is the nespresso machine and complementary capsule in your room which is another outstanding feat you can shout about. To be honest the price point is a little pricey but don't look at the price just pay for the services it's all worth it really at the end of the day it's the service that matter.
I'd definitely come back again!!

Stayed 1 night in a deluxe room which is very spacious (approx 40m). Very happy with CMCO room promotion rate with free breakfast, free minibar (4 soft drink & 1 orange juice), free car park, early check in 10am, late check out 8pm.
I get to check in 9.45am. During check in, I was served with a complimentary drink which is a nice gesture.
The room layout is more or less similiar to Crocksford Hotel, Genting Highland. There are 2 vanity sinks, a cubicle for shower plus a bathtub and another cubicle for toilet. In the bathroom they provide shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and even bath salt ( for bath tub). For other amenity such as toothbrush, shower cap, etc, you will need to request from Housekeeping. I am impressed that they use Kleenex tissue paper because other hotels use no brand tissue with lower quality.
After check in, I found the tv remote is not functioning. Had to call them to get anothet one. I appreciate Housekeeping respond fast within 5 minute.
There is a 3 seater sofa and a rattan chair. A round table that seem like a dining table. Inside kitchen cabinet, there are cups and spoons including 2 plates, forks, knives, can opener, ice bucket, etc. The Nespresso coffee machine comes with a generous 6 capsules.
Breakfast is served in the room because restaurant is closed. Their croissant is best as it is soft and fluffy. I think they can improve taste of chicken rendang.
Hotel location is 5 minute walk to Pavillion mall. Parking is ample in hotel basement.

It is wonderful stepping into the hotel with it's tranquil walk into the beautiful lobby, it's an oasis in the middle of the city (strategically located about 10mins walk to KLCC and shorter stroll to Pavillion). Checking in was a breeze with friendly assistance. However, no one offered to take my bags up to my room (a single lady carrying 4 different bags) and they were not even really busy at the time i was checking in. But the excitement to see my room made me forget the strain on my shoulders.
And what a sight it was walking to my corner studio, as the shutters automatically goes up while keep admiring the simple lines which are clean yet tasteful. i particularly big fan of the rose gold wash basin and the bath tub which i soaked myself every night.
Room came with a breakfast which i was excited to try (heard a lof about Atas restaurant, surely the breakfast would be great too) oh boy was i dissapointed, there was a buffet with limited choices and a menu whihc you could order mains that you would like. Aside to the fact that no one came to take my order for the mains, everything at the buffet was below everage and frankly disppointing. You should never get nasi lemak wrong at a malaysian hotel. And for dinner one night i had nasi goireng at Santai and it was very bland and to my horror had bean sprouts in it. However, the horror did'nt last too long as staff at Santai were very friendly and accomodating and made me feel very welcomed.
Overall a very comfortable stay, loved the feel of the hotel, so pleasing to the eyes and very comfortable stay however slightly scarred from the food there, hope they could improve it in the future.

From arrival to departure this hotel and its super friendly and forthcoming staff has been a treat on us.
This hotel is just one year old and so are the rooms. Very modern stylish room (deluxe room with bathtub) The mattress was very good for my liking. Very soft.
World definitely recommend when you are exploring KL for 3-4 days. The location is just superb in the very heart of the city
Breakfast is very good, you can choose from the breakfast buffet or order a la Carte
The biggest shoppingmall pavilion mall is just 5-7 walking minutes away.
I just really hope they will keep up this service longterm and not just in the beginning for the 5*

+1
Went back to stay in RuMa for the second time because the first stay was exceptional. But unfortunately this time the service didn’t meet my high expectations. Checked in on 1st January and I understand the hotel was overly booked and rooms weren’t ready for the time I wanted to check in. That is reasonable but what’s ridiculous is I asked the check in staff to call me once the room is ready, waited nearby the pool for over two hours and went back to check if the room was ready and it was. A call once the room was ready would’ve been convenient. No welcome drinks. I had lunch at atas and asked to bill it to my room once I was back in the room server at atas called my room to settle my account again saying I have to sort it out with the main desk. The hotel has my credit card details, deposit too and had to go down to the lobby for literally nothing. If the pool opens at 6am it should be open at 6am means there must an attendant or at least towel available and the pool should be clean. There were so much chlorine powder that within 3 mins I had to get out of the pool. Compared to first stay this has been quite disappointing.

Upon arriving the hotel to check in, we were ushered to sit down on the lobby sofa for the checking in process unlike the usual go over the counter ones. We were served with the refreshing sour plum juice and cold towels. Its exactly what we needed after a 5 hour drive up. And the best part was, we were upgraded to a suite room for free! We were then guided to our room by the concierge and once he opened the door, we were in awe. The room was so nicely decorated, spacious, everything looked new and the view of KLCC is just perfect. What i love most is the toilet! The bath and WC were separated at two ends of it and with his/her mirrors, it became my fav part of the room! The breakfast had a superb spread and everything was delicious. The waiter/waitress were attentive to our needs and everyone was helpful and pleasant. Our KL trip this time around was a memorable one due to The RuMa Hotel!

From the moment we pulled over for luggage drop off, we were blown away by the service rendered by the lovely staff at The RuMa.
Excellent and warm service rendered by the staff, and the hotel is different from other hotels you would find in the City Centre, with it's warm and earthy, almost contemporary Balinese feel.
Kinda feels you're in a beach resort but in the city, which is nice. The hotel is nicely tucked in a quieter area of the city, whilst still being really closeby to KLCC and Pavillion.
The swimming pool is great and they weren't too many people. Water temperature was just nice and not too cold.
Food is nice and in house guests get a 25% discount on dining, which I wasn't aware of until I was pleasantly surprised with the bill.
One incident which really spoke to us, was when we left our room only for about 2 hours for our evening cocktails and canapes , only to come back to fully made up room!
We stayed for only 2D1N and from my experience, you don't really get a Make Up Room Service for a one night stay.
Extra kudos to The RuMa for this! Would definitely want to stay here again.

Staff were all so friendly, accommodating, and very attentive. Upon arrival, luggage was immediately taken care of and vaccination cert checked. Excellent check in, I was greeted as soon as I sat down.
Everything in the room was clean but I hope the floors can be cleaned throughly because the bottom of my slippers were black after awhile. Very pleased with the auto black out curtains and just the how everything was well thought of. Breakfast at Atas restaurant was wonderful, SOP in place by making sure guests wear hand gloves and mask when at the buffet table. Worth the stay, thank you!

Great location if you intend to stay in the heart of KL city. Hotel appearance and cleanliness/comfort get good marks, however the service of the personnel didn't always match a 5star hotel. Check in took much longer than usual and there was a mix up with my friend's rooms and she wasn't allowed to check in yet. Prices for food and in room dining were a little extravagant, even compared to other 5 star hotels like St Regis

No. There is proper door that separates the bedroom from the bathroom.
The restaurant is fantastic so I’m sure the room service will be equally as good. We had a most memorable dinner there so a shame to miss it though. Breakfast is also 10/10.
Quickest way is take a taxi from the airport. Just make sure you use the official airport taxi or Grab.
