Something about arrival:
This hotel is near to the Maharajalela Monorail station, just a few minutes walking distance.

Something about check in:
The hotel lobby was located at 7th floor, the front desk staff is polite. They validated my Club Marriott membership card to ensure the rate I paid was correct. However, there is no welcome gift for Club Marriott members.

Something about the room:
The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The TV is true HDTV which I love the most. The shower area is a bit small but the water pressure is high enough. The room window is the only thing I am not satisfied with. This is because the room window is added with a metal frame, and unfortunately raining at the night i stayed, so the rain dropped to the frame and noisy throughout the night.

The hotel is providing a bottle (50ml) of hand sanitizer for each room, this is an added value for the hotel.

Room Tip: Avoid the room with metal widow frame if you hate the raining noise.

Dear Derrickee1010 Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown is conveniently located in the heart of Chinatown and a short 3 minute walk from public transportation, namely Maharajela Monorail and the Pasar Seni MRT and LRT. We're happy to hear that you had a great stay but do allow us to apologize for the noise on the window frame from the heavy rain. Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a welcome drink is no longer one of the amenities that we offer and we hope you will continue to book us for your next stay! Regards, Abhi General Manager

Book the “Kids Experience” package for a 1 night stay at the property. Due to high occupancy the day before, the hotel was unable to check us in earlier which is fine. So we arrived about 30mins after the official check-in time and we were told that we will not be able to get our rooms for a least an hour. This means an hour or more wait time (with kids) at the lobby.

However, the staff stepped up and offered us a table at the hotel restaurant, away from the crowds at the lobby and also some drinks while we wait. It took about one and half hours wait before we were able to get 1 of the rooms that we booked (we booked 2 rooms). The 2nd room will only be ready 30mins later.

Throughout the whole time, the staffs are courteous and did everything in their power to make up for the lost time including offering us extended check out time, cakes and amenities for the kids.

The packages includes a “chef experience” and the kids has an amazing time learning how to make pizza with a real chef no less and they even get awarded a “diploma” at the end of the event.

On the rooms, it is clean and well kept. It made us feel safe that we are in a clean and sanitised environment (daily covid cases are a cause for concern during the time of stay) though there are spots which require us to call guest services to clean again. The staffs did provide an ample amount of alcohol wipes for our use.

Overall, it was a great 1 night experience. The staffs are amazing, helpful and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this hotel for family with kids.

Stayed for a night during the Merdeka long weekend holiday. Hotel is located at a very convenient location just a stones throw from all there is to visit in Chinatown also very near to the MRT station that can connect you to many other places.

Felt that the parking spots were too few for a hotel this size, however we did manage to get a spot. Decor of hotel is unique and interesting. Rooms were spacious and had a good view of the surrounding area. Bed was super comfy, amenities provided adequate and water pressure of the shower was perfect.

Didn’t have a chance to utilise the facilities such as the swimming pool and gym due to the crowd. Service was OK, though we had to line up 30 mins to check in. Front desk staff didn’t tell me about the venue and time of breakfast until I asked.

I regretted opting for a breakfast inclusive room because breakfast was a letdown. We woke up early for breakfast but there were too many people lining up for food and too few staff to dish out the orders. (This was probably due to the Covid situation because guests weren’t allowed to take their own food at the buffet. ) It also wasn’t clear to us where we should be lining up at each food station. Breakfast spread was quite basic.

I spent half an hour lining up with a growling stomach at various food stations to get food all the while thinking that it would have been better to wake up a little later and just have breakfast at one of the many nearby cafes.

Dear lilblackdog Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed all aspects of our room from the size to the design and our signature Four Comfort bed. I am sorry to hear that our breakfast was a letdown. It is clear that this is an area of improvement for us and I will be working closely with te team to ensure that we do better. One of the highlights of the buffet is our Kopitiam counter which contains local favorites like kopi tarik, soft boiled eggs and kaya toast but this didn't come through well. I hope you will consider staying with us again in the future. If I can be of any assistance for future arrangements, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Warm regards, Abhi General Manager

First off, this is a review on their food delivery and not a dine-in nor stay.

Service: Communication with the hotel to place the order was smooth via WhatsApp. Not much recommending required by their customer service as we simply had to follow the starred items on the menu.

Packing: We absolutely loved the fact that everything was labeled even with expiry dates and placed in their very own re-usable cloth bag which makes an awesome shopping bag in the future.

Duck Confit (RM 35)

Unfortunately the duck did not age well in the take away box hence by the time we consumed it, it was a little cold and the teeniest bit tough. That said, it was extremely flavourful and tasty with the sauce. The spring mixed salad was nice and crunchy with pickles to give it that refreshing twist. The rosemary potatoes were caramelised beautifully though a little light in flavour but if you eat them with the duck, its perfect.

Had the meal ended there, if wouldn’t have been filling enough. But with the banana cake topped with caramel sauce was a perfect finish to the meal with its beautiful texture and was pretty filling!

Recommended? All in all, a pretty delicious meal at a very reasonable price🙆🏻‍♀️

Really enjoyed my 4 nights stay in this hotel. It´s located in the Chinatown, 2 minutes walking from the metro/bus station which is super convenient to get around. Personally I think it´s incredibly cheap for the quality and the breakfast is really good, covering both western and oriental cuisine.

This is my first visit to this hotel. The atmosphere was really nice and clean. The hotel located near petaling street so if you want to experience the night life you can stay in this hotel. Check in was smooth and Charlotte explained to me clearly about my package and she answered all of my questions. Thank you 😊 My room located at level 15, room number 1525. The room a bit small but I don’t mind and maybe next visit I will choose a bigger room. The toilet aminities are complete such as toothbrush, shaver, cotton pad & etc. My only concern was the toilet a little smelly. Maybe it come from the drainage but the room was clean. The Ramadhan buffet was great. Thank you Chef Gerald for entertaining me & my friend. For Sahur, I requested to send my food at 5am but I managed to get at 546am and I was a bit disappointed. As you can see on my other reviews, I’m not a fussy guest but I hope it won’t happen again because sahur is something really important for muslim. Checkout was smooth too and thanks to radhan (if I’m not mistaken the guy name) He apologies for what happened and I truly appreciate that. Overall, my stay was really enjoyable and I would love to come back again and I will share this experience to my friends and family. Thank you, Four Points. Wish you guys all the best

Like they say don't judge a book by its cover. This is exactly the kind of hotel with simple outer appearance but on the inside, its beautiful, clean, hygienic, comfortable, simple and elegant. The check-in and out lobby is located on the 7th floor. The friendly staff make this hotel extra special and comfortable. The decor and designs are very charming, classic and very tastefully done. The rooms are spacious and the bedding are just so comfortable. AND THE VIEW !!! Its just amazing with a full skyline of KL City. The hotel has a good size swimming pool and gym with a great view of the KL City too. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a variety of continental, and Asian food. The atmosphere in the beautiful spacious breakfast area makes us feel like we are having breakfast in New York city. At night, DO NOT miss a cocktail drink at JANN, do sit outside and enjoy the view that money cannot buy. In terms of security, all elevators are activated only by keycard access and closely monitored by CCTVs. Location of the Hotel is just superb... walking distance to Chinatown, pubs, eateries and restaurants. It is also a 5min walk to LRT station for those who want to catch a train to KL City center (8min away) or explore further without the hassle of traffic jams. We highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. And thankyou Fourpoint for making our stay so secure, safe, happy, comfortable and memorable. We will definitely return to stay again soon. Thankyou.

I stayed there during long weekend on our Merdeka Day. They just re-opened after MCO. Good price definitely.

However since the price was on promotional, I finds it too many people, be it at the lobby and swimming pool. Some kids just too loud and the parent just ignored.

Food was average but because of their good location, you easily to go and finds food outside.

Average room size and I love their Bar.

Their Assistant Sales Director - Mr Alan if not mistaken, very helpful and helps me to get seat at the bar during Merdeka night. Thank you.

Oh parking using Touch n Go, make sure you validate your card during check in for flat rate. If not the parking operator will charge you extra.

This is my second stay at this hotel after 2 months. Being upgraded to the Premier King Suite due to my Bonvoy Platinum status, and surprisingly they are giving free buffet breakfast (apart from the Platinum choice gift). The suite is huge and functional, it is much better if a bathtub is available in the suite. Everything is above expectation and definitely will come back after the COVID19 pandemic.

This new Four Points Kuala Lumpur Chinatown offers a 5* quality service and breakfast with a 4* price rating. Staff at all levels have a positive work ethic and always greet you with a delightful attitude. This is a great business hotel but could welcome holidays or weekend stays. The breakfast is above expectation with blue cheese, smoke salmon & a “kopitiam” (local coffee style corner) which was a welcome surprise together with the normal full buffet offering. A worthwhile visit while in KL.
