Detailed Reviews
Front desk and concierge is very helpful and friendly! The rooms are clean, tidy.
Location is well located as nearby some of the attractions.
Staying for 2days 1night, worth to try as the price is not that pricey.
Staff attitude is really a big point that can impact the hotel rating, thumbs up to the bell man and concierge that are super helpful and friendly, lots of information shared !

The hotel is nice for it's price. Though there were a few minor problems, but it was manageable. The room is very spacious and the king bed is huge. The location is perfect since it has an easy access to the mall, restaurants, massage, bus stop, monorail - almost everything.
The staffs were very helpful especially to Siti and Eddie who explained to me how to take the train and whom i kept asking for directions. Jay and the lady who checked me in were nice as well.
It's perfect for those who are on a budget but still want to stay in a comfortable hotel.
I will definitely stay here again.

+1
The hotel is location in a good spot, Bukit Bintang area. There is no breakfast but no worry, less than 5 mins of walk will reach Jalan Alor for good foods. Walking distance to shopping paradise area like Berjaya Times Square, Low Yat Plaza, Lot One and Pavilion. Room simple, clean and spacious.

I wrote this comment on Agoda.com but nothing was shown on the review :
I stayed 2 nights in Sky Hotel with my mom. At 9pm in the last night, the reception provided my room number & my information to stranger. The stranger with 2 guys ( one was the hotel bodyguard) stood in front of my room and used the hotel private key to open my door without any permit.
The door was locked inside and I asked “Who are you? What do you want ?. They just said “ Open the door , pretty girl” in English – that’s all – no more . The time they tried to open my room lasted ~15’ , I was so afraid & tried to phone to operator / reception / sevice / restaurant - all numbers written on the phone in room for help – but no one picked the phone.
Then, I phoned to my hometown, kept in touch the phone and opened the door (if anything happened my family would contact to the police directly). The stranger looked my face and realized I was not the girl he find . He just said sorry and went off.
I was unsafe in Sky Hotel and the hotel was not protect their customers.

I am a frequent traveler and this is my first experience staying in a "thief" hotel. My husband and I were check-in to Room 502 and only realized that our door card access to our room was not functioning so requested for the hotel to fix it. However after several times fixing the door lock to our room, it's still not functioning and we have to get the assistance from the reception to access to our room. In few occasions, our room was accessed by the hotel maintenance staff without our existence. The day we check out we didn't realize that our handphone chargers (ori iphone and samsung s3) were found missing until we reached home, as I remembered packing those in my hubby's backpack which was left unzip. Later I called the hotel and they have one of their housekeeping dept staff to call me instead of their floor manager. We were informed by the housekeeping that there were maintenance staff in our room fixing the door before we check out that day. Upon suspicion, I called again and requested for the hotel manager to give me a clarification. We were thinking to give the management a chance to clarify on this so we didn't post review on tripadvisor and agoda. She only came back to me after 2 weeks by email informing that there were no suspicions during their investigation. These 2 items are our companion and we have never left them behind.
I don't recommend this hotel..so please stay away from this hotel. I rather stay at Bintang Warisan Hotel, though a little run down but at least they have never given us any hiccups.

Our family of 6 drove up to Kuala Lumpur last weekend, my newphew booked 3 rooms from Sky Hotel . When we first checked in , we were given 3 room on the 2nd floor. (2 connecting rooms, with myself , mum and 2 nieces) My Brother and newphew shared another room nearby. When the door to the 2 connecting room was opened, we were embraced by the strong mouldy smell coming out from the 2 rooms. When we walk further inside, we saw the walls were filled with big fat fleas crawling and jumping on the wall. There were some inside the wardrobe as well as ontop of the headboard of our King size bed.We quickly called the front desk , and one maintaince guy and a housekeeper came to our room. They were not very please about our complaint, and was showing faces of displeasure. 10mins later my brother came and told us there were lots of ants in their room too!! We asked to change room and was given rooms on the 3rd floor this time. The table, tv console, wardrobe looked pretty cheap and run down, lamps were seen with scotchtaped on them. The toilet door was not aligned properly and could not be closed. The night after some shopping , we headed back to the hotel. Being very absent minded I couldnt recall where I left my room key, and my bro decide to to use his room key to try and swipe on my door censor and we were in shock to find that it acutally unlocked my room door!! After going in , I realized my room key was actually in my mum's hand bag!! We didnt report or complain to anyone from the hotel , as we all know for sure we are not going back there anymore...NEVERRR!!!

The first day/time we enter our Hotel Room (Family Room) i feel so steady, hotel room clean with big size bed,but then at night it started the smell someone smooking in the other room, and then leaking AC at night, then we call reception for additional towel the first day its Oke (female reception) but the next day when we ask for the additional towel because its taken away, the reception ask us to pay for additional charge RM10 which i think unusual for the hotel like this (Male Reception).I feel very upset, becoz we are 4ppl (2kids,2adult) i only ask for 1 additional towel

Stayed there again for 2nd and third time in Dec and last night. The service is getting poorer and I just realized there are smaller room design, or even no window room. Last month when I made a reservation through phone they said booking confirmed, and on the day I was supposed to check in, they called in the morning telling me that they have some plumbing work to be done so I cant stay. I was so unhappy and asked them why only now then you inform us and I had to look for other hotels in a rush. Luckily found Iris Garden Hotel which is just right next to BB Plaza, above Guardian. Perfect nice room for much cheaper price.
Stayed in Sky hotel again last night in KL , the price is slightly higher than before , RM 220. During my first stay it was RM 175 (Very nice spacious room given), second stay RM 208, (Room is not as big but still nice bathroom design) and last night, I paid RM 220, they gave me a no window room with just a small bathroom with shower screen. I was unhappy and went to the reception counter and asked for a change. As I expected they answered me fully booked. I didnt believe and insisted to change, told them I dont mind 2 single bed but rooms with windows for better ventilation,The male reception finally changed a room for us. Smaller bed but with windows.floors were not cleaned
Forgot to mention, during my 2nd stay, I was suppose to check out the next day but we were a bit late, they called at around 12 ++ talking rudely to me, if I dont check out by one, they will charge the next night charge, OMG. I told them I will be back soon and was suprised, when I got back the housekeeping person was in the room cleaning as we have put the DND sign on the door.
Pissed off. I should give this hotel a miss on my next visit. Perhaps Iris Garden is great. Only RM 130 per night for weekday and RM 150 weekend

This is the best budget hotel in KL city, the 7 foot king sized bed is really very large, enough to fit 3 people. It is also very cheap, a standard king room book through Agoda cost less than RM120 per night. This hotel is centrally located between Times Square and Jalan Alor, and just a few minutes away to Sungei Wang Plaza. There is also free WiFi and the speed is quite fast. The things that I like in this hotel are the bed and pillows as they are very comfortable. The room and bathroom are very clean too and the water pressure is also very high which means the shower is great! In addition, there are 3 plug socket in the room compared to 1 in other hotels. I'm so lucky, during my stay my room number is 123, very easy to memorize. The homestyle air-conditioning temperature is ok, not too cold nor too warm although I've turned the coldest temp.
The drawbacks for this hotel are: there is no room service, bars, cafes, restaurants, and coffee house in this hotel which means there is no breakfast, but there is a local style coffee shop and a supermart outside the hotel. Besides that, you can't call the operator and housekeeping from your room, if you needed something extra or encountered problems in your room, you have to go down the lobby and tell them. If you booked it thru Agoda, you have to pay a RM50 deposit during check in, if you didn't damage anything in the room they will refund it to you. During my stay, the two headlamps beside the bed have spoiled and they said they have no stock for it, this makes the room a bit dim. The bathroom sliding door is also hard to open when it closed completely, so if u are not inside, better don't close completely, just close it halfway.
This is one of the best hotel I've stayed. This hotel is highly recommended!

Stayed at this hotel a few times and each time it got worse. The property lacked maintenance and staff's service was lackluster. Will not choose this again the next time I go to KL.
The bads that made the hotel "unstayable":
- Shower head was blocked, water strength was too small to have a proper bath, hot water was not working.
- Hole in the toilet ceiling
- Aircon leaked badly. Problem was not resolved even though we had alerted the guard (because there was no one at the recept).
- Many of the lights not working, making the room very dim
- Dirty bedsheets and blanket cover, obvious stains. I had bites from unknown bugs in the hotel, so itchy and swollen I had to see a doctor for med and cream.
- The safety box was detached and could be moved! (Rm 515)
- Card key did not work every night I return and we had to go down to recept to have it fixed.
- Housekeeping told us to wait when we requested for toilet rolls, needed it immediately.
- Location is not optimal, have to walk through quiet backlanes to get there
The bads that can be overlooked:
- No bedroom slippers
- No tissue provided
- Toilet rolls was too soft and thin
- Only 2 hangers in the room
- Limited TV channels
The goods, but cannot make up for the bad:
- King bed

Parking is next to hotel
Entrance, it's still part of he same building but no direct aheltered walkway to lobby (kinda steep so be careful when driving down basement to prevent hitting bottom of car body). And yes there is a 10ringgit overnight charge when I parked.
Hello, yes the hotel will hold luggage for you , the doorman and hotel porters are very helpful and friendly , regards Dec
