15RM a night in a small dorm (3 beds), on the first floor just next to the free tea/coffee. Wifi very good. The room and bathroom are clean. No bedbugs there (As I read in other reviews). They have 2 guesthouse. I'm in "Le Village China Town". The other is called "The Village Bangkok Bank". Only one detail : there...

- This Bangla guy, Hassan, appeared to be amiable, until enter the dorm bed and touch some females. other days in the living room, he would insert some harrassing elements in between the chatting. - Swamps of bedbugs - smell weeds. there are weed dealers in there. - some travel junkies hang in there long term to get free/friends' special...

Stayed here for 4 nights... it was a bit mental. The first night was a disaster, our bed was infested with bed bugs. I got bitten A LOT! However, once we told them about it in the morning they were really helpful, moved us to a better room and washed all our clothes that had touched the bed. I guess...

Very rough in and out, rooms reasonable, but very friendly guys that run the hostel! Very cheap but for a good reason.

If you have always wanted to stay in a bohemian coop of artists, people who have backpacked for 20+ years, and creative-types, this is for you. It's definitely the most interesting place we've ever stayed due to the crowd that seems to live there. We heard many people say they had been there for months, and rarely left the hostel....

“I've had some wonderful naps here, and some good nights of sleep. It really depends on the habits of the guests who come and go. But when I have trouble sleeping and get rudely awakened by people being inconsiderate, it sucks... just like in any other hostel. It's handy to stay on the main floor, but if you're near the kitchen, the walls are thin and you can hear whole conversations as well as people cooking. The rooms off the common room can be noisy, too, depending on who's out there and what they're up to. There's only one bathroom on the main floor, and that requires a high level of sharing, which I think is the biggest drawback here. If you get a bed crawling with bedbugs like I did at first, you can always ask to have your room changed and they will fumigate. It's an ongoing battle, of course. After all, it is a tropical place.”
