We stayed here for 4D3N from 24-28 Nov. Our platinum elite status didnt help in securing a room upgrade as the hotel was experiencing high occupancy; probably due to a conference happening at that time. The staff were indeed stretched - there were snaking queues to check in at the lobby, and the staff stationed at the lounge often had to go help out with kitchen or service. Where the hotel excelled is the food quality. The spread at breakfast is great, and probably has the second-best breakfast buffet in KL (behind Le Meridien's Latest Recipe). The food at the lounge was similarly outstanding - I remember the pasta being cleared multiple times and being refilled. The location is a double-edged sword. The Quill City Mall opposite has minimal shops where you can grab a bite or buy some groceries, but the upper levels are largely untenanted. You'd still get stuck in the rush hour traffic jams along Sultan Ismail so the monorail station next door would be your best bet. The nearest big mall would be SOGO KL (5 mins car ride); the other big malls are a 10 min car ride away in clear traffic - Pavilion, KLCC/Avenue K, Sunway Putra, Lalaport, Bejaya Times Square. Now the things of concern to highlight. Some time back, tripadvisior told me that the hotel had undergone a supposed extensive renovation, but that seems to be a misnomer. Much of the hotel facilities and room are more or the less the same as per our visit prior to covid. The most noticeable difference would be the new feature wall behind the TV - but the toilets and marble countertops in the room and bathroom remain. In fact, in the first room we were assigned, many metal fittings in the bathroom were well-rusted. The bidet hose, bathtub drain stopper, metal rings of the bathtub taps were all rusty. Our request for a room change took a day or two, and unfortunately, we were shocked to find that it was saturated with cigarette smoke despite being on a non-smoking floor. We gave up trying to ask for another room as we didnt want to pack and unpack all our belongings again. The air freshener they provided simply masked the odour, i was expecting an industrial-grade air purifier to be used! Another little thing we noticed was that this was the first time there wasnt a welcome snack in all our stays with Marriott hotels. Not that we insisted it's a must-have, but it's common to get some biscuits or chocolate that the children would look forward on the first day. I'm unsure if I'd like to come back again in spite of the amazing food quality here. No form of service recovery was conveyed when I reflected the issues with the room. Staff in their sister hotels in the marriott group have given us tiny tokens of apology for matters less serious than what we had experienced here - bottles of beer, small desserts etc.). I cant remember if an apology was even offered. The service level provided would probably be described as unfortunately underwhelming. A real renovation is unlikely to happen anytime and the facilities would continue to show their age. The sad sight of the abandoned Italian restaurant next to the pool perhaps could be improved by covering the windows with opaque sticker film.

This is the worst hotel stay I’ve experienced with Marriott and this is coming from someone whom have been a loyal customer and member of Marriott for over 10 years. First, the two room keys received after check in were not working. I called twice from level 28 requesting new keys to be sent up but no one came after waiting for a long time. I had to lug the luggage back down to the lobby to get new keys in the end but the keys couldn’t open the room again (!!) and had to go back down again and get a new room. It was late and when I finally settled into the room, it was already 2am. The worst thing during the whole ordeal was the receptionist who attended to me was not apologetic at all. Next come the worst room service I’ve ever experienced. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay (and food) but the person who took the order on the phone had no idea what it was even though there was only one Chardonnay on the menu. In the end, I was sent a glass of red wine. Worse, I was told I could not charge the room service to the room and I had to pay on the spot. This is really the first time ever I’ve experienced such a ridiculous room service. Honestly, it’s an understatement to say that I’m extremely disappointed with the service I’ve experienced during this stay. Definitely will not recommend to anyone and not come back again.

Really nice hotel well located in Kuala Lumpur- easy walk to the Petronis towers, KL tower and shopping malls. We had a lovely room on the 33rd floor (may have been upgraded as a titanium member), with access to the club lounge on the 38th floor. The lounge is really nice and serves some nice food, salad and drinks from 5:30 - 7:30pm. Also does afternoon tea/snacks and soft drinks/tea/coffee in afternoon (we never tried this). No breakfast provision. The staff in the lounge were all lovely but Liane deserves a special mention- so hardworking but always the brightest smile and remembers your name, who you are and just shows a special interest in people - and absolutely loves her job she says! Nice outdoor swimming pool which was a very welcome relief after a hot day in the city. A little tired looking, as were the sun loungers, but perfectly adequate and pleasant. We had breakfast provided (again due to titanium status) - there was a huge array of food - Malaysian, Indian, Chinese, western as well as freshly made juice to order and lovely fruit. Our room was clean with a great shower and bathtub, comfortable bed - pillows not the best but I could have asked for another. Plenty of water provided and nice fruit bowl every other day on our 4 night stay. All in all a really enjoyable stay in a city we had never visited before but found colourful, interesting and diverse.

I've stayed at this hotel for the past few years when in KL and all of the amenities and people are very good. The restaurant/buffet has a wide variety of food, and the rooms are generally pretty spacious (depending on the type), but the finishes are a little bit dated. On this particular stay, the standout for me was the Concierge Anwar. He was able to track down and accommodate what was probably one of the oddest requests I've ever made of a hotel, but was very helpful in getting what I needed before heading out of town. Many thanks to him and the Sheraton staff, who are always a pleasure.

Leaving here tomorrow after a 3 night stay. Wow we were impressed with everything. Our room was big and spotless with city views on the 35th floor. We had access to the club lounge which was amazing. Delicious food and complimentary drinks. So comfy there with great views. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good with a large choice for all nationalities. Again lovely staff and the man at the bar who made our cocktails also. They can't do enough for you. Pool area was nice and clean with comfy beds and towels we enjoyed our time there. Nice how they welcome you at the entrance very polite. If we stayed in Kuala Lumpur again we would stay here. We recommend. Thank you everyone.

I have stayed many times at the Sheraton Imperial KL over the past 15 years. As a lifetime platinum elite member, I have stayed across all properties in KL as well. A special shout out to the Sheraton Lounge stuff , calling out the Club Manager, Natasha and her team for an excellent experience on New Year's eve and the 1st day of the Year - simply courteous , humble and hospitable service by Natasha and Fasyina for their relentless service working thru the holidays and always with a smile -- this is indeed the #Bonvoy Service that I look forward too -- and for many more nights here. Happy New Year team :)

A bit older hotel - but great location, warm people and we had a comfortable stay. The good - the room was nice - the staff, especially the support staff (housekeeping, lounge) were great and took good care of us - internet was great - location is central and very accessible - you won’t have any issues finding transportation or food around here - the lounge is a nice space on the 38th floor The bad - the property is a bit old - the breakfast is a bit of a mess. Their egg counter always have long queues and you can’t access foods that you want for kids - e.g., pancakes, sausages etc. due to the long queues in front of the egg counter. We faced this issues on multiple days of our stay. It looked like the management had given up on sorting this out.

Great hotel and good location with amenities nearby Pluses Check in and check out as a breeze Great sized room and great size bathroom with separate shower and bathtub Comes with a mini walk in wardrobe too Great water pressure Bed was really comfortable. Pillows are slightly flat but easily solved with extra pillows There’s a row of shops right behind the hotel, mostly F&B outlets (with lots of choices) to a massage place Minuses Only thing to nitpick is that the entire hotel is like a ice cube. From the room to the lobby to the gym. A happy problem during hot days. Would definitely come back.
