The location was great only few minutes from main shopping malls. My wife and I booked a room in the Merdeka wing. Very spacious and clean but no view. But I booked a superior twin room for my daughters but they had a nice view. Breakfast was fantastic. A huge variety at the buffet breakfast. They booked a van for...

When I was a little boy, the Federal Hotel was THE hotel in Kuala Lumpur! Considering the fact that it was the first hotel of international standard in this country, it is not hard to believe. As the years went by, The Federal started getting over shadowed by newer and more luxurious hotels. However a recent visit back to the...

I was put up in this hotel for a medical event the next day. Eventhough over the years I have frequented establishments around it, this is my first time staying here. There is a feel of history and grandeur to the place. The staff were courteous and professional during the check-in. The room as evident from the attached photo is...

Recommed to have higher floor because bars are just directly below the hotel and noise level can be an issue. Breakfast was great with plenty of selections. TV channels were adequate with cable channels...

I stayed at the Federal from the 28th of dec till the 1st of Jan and absolutely loved it. The staff were helpful as from day 1 and assisted me with all my requests. Prior to my stay, I had a couple of requests, one among which was a room facing the Petronas Towers. I was told it might not...

Well trained and very friendly staff from doormen, to front-desk to room-maids/gents. Impressive, after the mediocre & arrogant services we got in most Thai hotels during our Asia-trip. Older, large hotel with very large rooms. I stayed in the new wing. Ask for quiet room if you are sensitive. Very nice and complete breakfast buffet in bright and modern restaurant....

Frontline staff shows good professionalism and Miss Wani stood up amongst them.Couldn't help much with the noise of live band playing until 2am in the morning...other than that the staff friendliness make my stay a pleasant one...Thanks again Miss Wani.
