I hadn’t expected to be staying here, but my original Agoda booking with another hotel was cancelled at last minute. This left me in Pasay, at 5pm and due to attend a show at 19 East at 8pm with no accommodation for the night. So as I travelled to Parañaque in the cab I made a last minute search online and booked Red Doorz. The reception desk is on the 2nd floor, accessible by elevator. Check in was quick and within 30 minutes of making the booking I was in my room on the 4th floor. Room was large with 2 separate bedrooms and full kitchen facilities, and comfortable seating area. I made the show and staggered back in the early hours of the morning, to find security at the entrance. Would I stay here again ? YES definitely I am glad I found this place. If you use booking sites that display this one as 'pay at the hotel' be very careful if you book this place. Check regularly that the room description does not change between the time you book it and the time you arrive. What that means is if you 'book and forget' (in other words think you did what is required) and do not check, when you do arrive the place will either - give you the room you did not reserve (a worse one) or one that is twice as expensive as the one you did reserve and you may feel there is no alternative but to accept the situation - given the place is in a far out location. A convenient little tactic methinks. Also, getting any information about the property prior to going there e.g. fine line information about the amenities via CS email may be very difficult. In my experience they did not return any emails and I had to ask the booking site to step in on my behalf about certain issues I had with the booking.
