Like most hostels in Malate (the dining and nightlife capital of Manila), Chill-Out is an old building. It is run by a super attentive and warm family. We booked a superior room and it had A/C, warm water, queen size bed, and TV. We opted for the room at the back of the building. The building is old but everything...

Arrived at 2am. Without a clear sign of the reception area, I broke into supposedly locked room on the ground floor (I could hear a chain dropped to the floor as I opened the door). Found the reception on the 1st floor and had a good night sleep. Reception lady told me that she would wake me up at 7am...

I had a very nice stay. The room although the facilities is quite old, is very well kept and organized. The location is very convenient and accessible to major points in the suburbs. Looking forward to booking another stay next month.

I highly recommend the Superior Aircon room (Room Solange). Its big! Aircon not too cold and very quiet. :) staffs are very helpful when I asked direction to Robinson mall and to Aristocrat. The kuya there also gladly helped me carry my luggages to third floor. As this is not a hotel, please dont expect fancy linens towels etc. Its the...

Nice place in Malate, near all the restaurants and bar.We had the big room with private bathroom and was very big and clean for this price. Fast and cheap laundry service, and helpful staff. Just 30 minutes from Airport. I will come back again:)

Booked the fan room because it`s really good price, but the room is very hot. It`s not easy to get a whole night sleep, had to go to take cold shower 2 times in a night to cool myself or else had to open the door, and put the fan near the door, because the corridor is much cooler, so...

For the discerning budget backpacker navigating the monstrous cityscape of Manilla, Chill-out Guesthouse can be viewed as a "safe pair of hands." It's close proximity to the airport (around a 300 pesos 30 minute taxi ride) and to the Mall of Asia (20 minute Jeepney journey) as well as a 5 minute walk away from a Robinsons Mall, makes it...

We stayed for three nights and found the location to be handy to restaurants, Robinson's Place Mall, Manila Bay and Intramuros. There are mini-marts nearby also. However the area was noisy with traffic, music, dogs barking all night. A room at the back might be better. I got earplugs! The room was basic with two beds, a safe, AC and...
