Our second time here and still as wonderful. Old fashioned charm and service. Comfortable rooms and a breakfast buffet (free with stay) that is the best I've ever had. Multicultural options, wonderful service and a beautiful venue. Dinner buffet is equally terrific. Near Rizal Park and the Intramurous, the fort and old part of Manila. I wouldn't stay anywhere else...

they have a grand lobby. the pool seemed ok but wish they had a bigger section for the kids. the pool area for the kids was quite small and was too crowded with the amount of kids swimming during the weekends. the rooms were renovated and the hotel food has improved a lot. kudos to the breakfast buffet which was...

It is a really old style luxury hotel. Prices are not ridiculous for what you actually get. Location is good, a bit far from the best malls, so you will have to spend a good 30-40min on a taxi. The shower had the best water pressure of any other hotel we stayed. Food needs to be improved, both in restaurants...

We had a convention so that means lots of people booked. It seems they lack people in all departments. Upon arrival - carry your own luggages from your car to inside of hotel, even if they are big and more than one. Room service - no water served with food. Requests - two sets of cutleries but only one was...

We stayed here for 5 days. The lobby looks grand because of lots of chandeliers and the piano music is soothing. The reception is very busy and barely can answer a phone call. The security is tight and at times annoying even it is obvious that what you are carrying a food from famous resto. The room was huge. We...

When we arrived, there was a very long line at reception. When it was finally our turn to check in, we were told they couldn't find our reservation that we made online. After another 20 minutes, they finally sorted it out and told us our room is ready. After confirming that we requested for 2 single beds, we were given...

If you have any understanding of WWII in the Pacific then you have heard of General MacArthur. The famous Manila Hotel is where he resided, occupying a complete floor during much of his assignment to the Philippines. The Manila Hotel is an historic jewel of Manila - it is gorgeous, sumptuous and contains the spirit of the Filipino people. My...

I visited a friend too early and decided to have a good old filipino breakfast. The hot choco reminds me of the cocoa from the province. Hot choco with the filipino taste. Daing na bangus is perfect, not over marinated. And the atchara is so good. Other international breakfast are available also. Will definitely visit again.
