My family stayed here on Jan 13-15, 2017 and a constant guests here as I may add. I booked here because its much cheaper than other hotels nearby with the same category. But our stay was a bit disappointed and annoying due to the issue on my footwear during our breakfast on the 1st day. Although I was aware of...

We stayed at The Diamond as the final stop on our diving holiday in The Philippines. The hotel is fairly priced, the rooms are large and the staff is extremely polite. We didnt try the breakfast, but we had lunch by the pool twice, and the food there is good but rather expensive (560 pesos for a burger). The rooms...

First off, I have to say that the check in staff are really good! Very friendly, talkative and attentive. Hotel lobby is very clean and all staff greet you with a smile! Nicely decorated with the Christmas theme this time of year. Hotel is located near the shoreline and makes for a good picture from a high level (provided you...

Came here on a layover & it was my birthday. Stepped out in the morning, left a note for housekeeping to please ask for my laundry to be delivered. Came back to an immaculate room with a note from room attendant Rizza wishing me a happy birthday. While entering room, every staff on my floor greeted me a happy birthday...

We booked connecting rooms (1 with a king size bed and 1 with 2 double/queen size beds). Rooms and bathrooms are adequately sized but design and fixtures are dated. Toiletries and room facilities are basic. Buffet breakfast service gets really busy around 830am so be there early. Despite the busy service, servers (like Thomas) and even the supervisor are helpful...

The hotel's theme during the Christmas season is Candyland and it was carried throughout, from the hotel lobby to the dining room. Hotel amenities are luxurious and generous. There's one thing that was disappointing and it's for this reason that I'm giving it 4 stars instead of five, breakfast menu is limited compared to other hotels in Manila in the...

My wife and I stayed for an overnight staycation and appreciated the room's cleanliness and view of the Manila Bay. But we were given the older room and we heard there are rooms that had ready been renovated. We hope the hotel can speed up the refurbishing of the other floors because the old rooms obviously need to catch up....

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a nice size and well maintained. They have a turn down service and the cleaning crew are very good. The breakfast buffet is very nice, also the Japanese restaurant in the hotel is amazing. If you are going to stay in Manila this is the place to go.

I made a trip to Manila last Xmas mainly to check out a dentist and booked at the Diamond as the most convenient and reasonably-prized hotel. On arrival at the reception a young lady asked me to consider upgrading my room to a better one on a higher floor for which I would pay a bit more. I asked to...

Booked for two nights for the first week of Jan. Comfortable room but getting dated and aging. The price value could be improved. Booked over orbitz for ~ $250 for 2 nights after taxes and all and did not include breakfast. I recently stayed at Makati Diamond Residences and the price is less and it's a newer hotel.
