I have been a customer for over 2 decades, the place is older now and needs a full renovation in the old building but the new tower is well worth the visit. Awesome restaurant on the 8th floor, they serve a super prime rib dinner.

Too disappointed. It is so saddening that before, it used to be one of the best 3 star hotel, but now, this place is so creepy for me. The management is not taking care of the hotel anymore. It's so old, unclean, AC is not good or cold enough, and trust me, you'll want to transfer to another hotel because you... More

Was a walk in guest and first noticed Bellcaptain/s were in white undershirts and I wondered what is going on. I went in to check in as I've checked online that they have room vacancies. 2nd noticed thing is the way to the lobby and the front desk was so dark and was slightly illuminated by the spot lights on... I stayed here for few weeks last May of 2016. Typical weather in this country for this month is so hot. Well, as you know, this hotel is so old and need renovations, etc etc. At the time of my stay the A/C is not functioning well. I have to use an electric fan to help cool my room. The... More

We had our field trip in Manila area and we stayed there twice for two consecutive years. The first year was a boring stay. Our room doesn't have a window and the ventilation was bad. The closet is so old and it doesn't close easily. The bathroom was okay and it has a tub though it looks dirty so we... More

Not to mention a Php150 breakfast buffet if you're checked in the hotel... Though we were able to use some gym equipment, some of them cannot be used anymore. They have to also clean the pool, though. They have to make the internet more convenient in hotels.

It's an old hotel with low ceiling, carpets, and all. But it's relatively clean. Stayed on the 7th floor. Of course, it doesnt have flat screen tv, but at least it has a tv, ref, and good enough bed. Stayed there with my friend where she held her meetings at the resto on the ground floor. Chose this hotel because... More

Great Eastern Hotel - Review The worst hotel I've stayed in Metro Manila. Downside: -everything is inferior -poor ventilation -low ceiling -it feels like you're lying in a hospital bed -busted A/C unit -atmosphere is too hot in the hallway -Bulk TV, not flatscreen or LED -carpet stains -old-fashioned brittle cabinet hangers -the taste of food during the event was... We book this hotel instead of going home because of too much traffic in the area. We stayed in the 11th floor of the west wing (the newer building, they say). Right upon arrival, my 6yo daughter said that the hotel is creepy, much like the scary hotels in the movie. Upon checking in, the front desk personnel told me... More
