Very small and simple room. The furniture was plain and the mattress lumpy. Breakfast is limited. No water, no juice and only instant coffee. Cost / benefit high. Fantastic private beach and good service.

I have been coming here for almost 4 years now. The service is beyond great. The hotel is right in the middle of Turkbuku, giving you the opportunity to go out every night as you like. Also I love how there is "Cay Saati" everyday, that provides tea and cake at 4.30 pm. Your room gets cleaned everyday too. All... More

Driving into the Bodrum peninsula, it's hard to not be disappointed: it's very built up, the road network is messy and confusing, and there are huge roadside signs advertising monstrous developments and resort hotels. I almost regretted coming. But once we'd finally found Kaktus Cicegi and checked in, all the stress went away. It's a small but lovely property with... More

We were so excited all the way from Washington DC to Bodrum; just to find out that they sold the same room to 3 different parties for our stay between 7/11-15 2012. Owner, Mrs.Hulya, admitted that she made a mistake and ruined our vacation. Which reliable business would sell and resell and resell the PREPAID reservation? We were lucky to... More

This is such a lovely little spot. Right on the water, very casual, and far from the thump thump thump of the discos and big money hotels on the other side of the beach. If you are looking for overpriced drinks and a place to pose, this is not the spot for you. The room was tiny and dark and... More

Clean rooms, tasty fresh breakfast, friendly staff, antique furniture & curios, well located for evening dining & promenade along the waterfront! Charming outdoor area for breakfast with vines, pear tree, bougainvillea in the courtyard. Lovely setting for candlelit evening dining on decking or directly the beach! Son of the owner very accommodating and interesting to talk to. Wifi available in... More

Me and my wife stayed there the first week of september 2011 for 3 nights... Being Turkish, I know exactly how popular that part of Bodrum is with some high end hotels, beaches and bars... however this property is located on the other side of the peninsula... Compared to other properties in the area, the price seems spot on however... More

If you are looking to be treated like family in a charming, serene backdrop in the heart of jet-set Turkbuku, this is the place to be! Franck, his lovely family, and Neay were so incredibly kind, accommodating and wonderful to us. They and their friendly staff went out of their way to make our trip truly special, from help with... As I was travelling alone on business, I wanted a small, friendly, comfortable hotel. The Kaktus Cicegi met all my expectations and more. Franck, the owner, collected me from the airport and I was greeted by the whole family and introduced to the staff on arrival. The courtyard is stunning. My comfortable room was on the upper floor and at... More
