Mandalinci is probably 3 star not 4 in English terms. That said, it did have a lot of facilities which is probably what earns it the stars. We went All Inclusive (a party of 5 over 60s!). Facilities include lovely pool, free beds round pool, easy access to free beds on beach- just over a small street with segways and...

Our room smelled of mold, the carpet was damp and flakes of white paint from the ceiling were piled in the corners and scattered over the orange furniture. There were no mosquito screens but there were squashed mosquitos on the wall. The bathroom had just a bare sink with no soap or toiletries. The lift stuck leaving us groping for...

We were pleased with the location of the hotel, we chose it because it was in the centre of Turgutreis near to bars, resturants and the beach. We didn't intend eating in the hotel in the evenings. After booking I read some of the reviews and began to wonder if we had made a big mistake. Our room 2223 we saw mentioned...

Our room was at back of building on the ground floor with a veranda staring into their Laundry and Cleaning operations trolleys of toilet rolls and more and surrounded by more grey stone building which was dark and depressing. Even if I smoked I would never consider going out there. The room smelled of damp and mould. Not exactly health...

We arrived here ad hoc and were offered all inclusive for £25 per day, not bad I think. The hotel is dated and a little rough around the edges but we were happy to look at its plus points. Its literally on the beach, the pool area is overlooking the beach. Its right next to all the bars and shops...

All the bad reviews on TA are so well deserved as I knew they would be. I was in this hotel purely for the location (right in the centre of town). I lived in Turgutreis for 10 years 20 years ago, hadn't been back for some 5 years and wanted to say goodbye to a lot of old friends. But...

This is not a 4 star hotel, not at all. The room was pretty large, but dirty from the very beginning, there was dust all over the furniture and floors. The boys came every day for cleaning, but they wiped the floor only on visible areas (for example, never between beds, only in front of them). Old furniture, broken door...
