We recently had the opportunity to eat dinner at the Green Springs Inn where the food was delicious and the service was good. We look forward to returning again when in the area. Try to sit on the outdoor patio when the weather is cooperative.

Spent 3 nights in the lodge, ate in the excellent restaurant which served grass fed beef. There for a wedding which they helped organize. Amazing food and good place to stay. Forest setting - jacuzzi in room.
My boyfriend and I stayed in Green Springs Inn for one night; we were roadtripping up the West Coast and had limited time per stop. If only we knew how beautiful this place was beforehand, we would have stayed a few days longer.

As our previous guests have indicated, people have very different reactions to Highway 66 between Emigrant Lake and the Green Springs. The determining factor seems to be experience. If you have driven on a mountain road previously, you will probably take it in stride. If this is an unfamiliar landscape, you might find it very challenging. In either case, the drive takes 25-30 minutes.
