We would give this place 5 stars if it weren't for a couple minor things which together were worth including or mentioning. Location is beautiful, quiet. Cabins were closer than we were led to believe by the person we spoke to on the phone, but were spacious, cozy, and in general well appointed. Restaurant food and service was very good....

This is a hidden gem. Lovely, rustic lodge about a half hour's drive from the I-5 east of Ashland, adjacent to the Cascades Siskiyou National Park. We stayed in Lodge Room 3 (L3 Lodge) for two nights. Very reasonably priced. The king bed had lovely linens and a comfy mattress. We had a huge jacuzzi tub off our private back...

In the last year we purchased a home in Washington but still live in the SF Bay Area full time. So, we travel between the two often. Normally we just choose a place on the roadside of I5 but in August we decided to look for an experience. We loved Green Springs Inn and stayed at Parsnip Lakes. It was...

Love this place, property includes small rooms and stand alone self contained cottages. I have done both. Wonderful linens, rustic but comfortable..modern furnishing. Strong ground coffee for wake up, but the killer is..their fab restaurant..breakfast, lunch, dinner. Local wines, beer on tap!! It is awesomely cool! 40 minutes up winding road from Ashland, but worth it!

The room lights were on when I arrived, a very nice touch. The bed was Wonderful! The room very clean. I didn't feel like I was in a rustic cabin at all. No TV, so magazines and games were provided next to two very comfy chairs. Wish I had planned to stay longer! A very nice, get away from the...

We stayed in one of the cabins (more like a house). Deer outside our deck. Very spacious cabin with everything you need. If you are going into Ashland to see a play allow lots of time to park. We arrived in Ashland at 5:30pm and drove around for 15 minutes trying to find a place to park. Finally found a...

I visited Green Springs Inn for two nights in late July. Getting to the inn requires a drive up a treacherous winding mountainside, but once you've arrived the temperature is several degrees cooler and the staff are really welcoming. The food at the restaurant is good and the beer is cold and can be served out on the deck. Many...

What a surprise to find a nice lunch spot with good food and good beer on tap in the woods! Very friendly waiter. Burgers are wonderful and made with local beef. There's a cute little gallery store across the street and spring water filling station a mile or so down the road. Great find! Stop if you're in the area.

We occasionally drive up the mountains and lunch at Green Springs. The food (including pie) is reasonable and fairly priced. You go for the view more than the food -- but together they make for a fun day out in the wilds. My wife loves their Rhubarb pie. Their luxury chicken coop out back is a fun find, Christmas lights...
