My husband and I stayed at A Midsummer's Dream while visiting Ashland this summer and found it to be delightful. The Inn is impeccably decorated and maintained and Lisa, our host, was welcoming and most gracious. I highly recommend the Inn, particularly the Othello room which was comfortable and luxurious. The breakfasts were also great. It was an all around...

Roberta, Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a nice review of the Inn. I'm so glad I had a room available the night you came through town. It was nice meeting both of you. Lisa

This tastefully decorated, well run, and comfortable B&B offers a selection of rooms named for some of Shakespeare's most famous characters. Ours, decorated in lavender and white with a welcoming fireplace and balcony overlooking the valley, was the "Juliet". The king sized bed was most comfortable. Breakfast is prepared between 8:30 am and 9:00 am according to your desires and...

Looked at a couple of other B & Bs on Trip Advisor before I chose this one. I was amazed that I was even able to get a room since the booking calendar was very full. I asked for and received the Othello Room. OMG! The room is beautifully decorated in soft greeny grey tones with black floral wall paper....

Lisa was so hospitable and friendly! We stayed in the Romeo which is upstairs with it's own entrance, large, and beautiful. The entrance door is right across from the entrance into the dining room of the main house. Huge, comfortable bed with a thick, warm comforter. The bathroom has a separate shower and a large Jacuzzi tub. Small covey with...

This was the perfect choice for us. We stayed in the Juliet room, which was amazingly cute and comfortable. The king bed was filled with dreamy pillows, and the room enjoys lots of soft, natural light. Lisa thought of everything, leaving bottles of water and snacks in the room. You could also find tea fixings, port and home-baked cookies downstairs...

Beautiful room! We stayed in November and the fall foliage outside the room was in peak color which added to the beauty of this sage green and black accented room. The fireplace added warmth and ambience to the room and the bath. The jetted soaking tub was perfect after the long drive from Seattle. Lisa has bathsalts and special handmade...

Best B & B in Ashland, by far... Sunset Magazine quality... Ask for the fantastically romantic "Romeo Suite" for best of house... Breakfast is to die for... Lavender-flavored whipped cream topping for wonderful waffles??? FOGETABOUTIT!!! The owner/innkeeper is a hoot, also, and is quite knowledgeable about Shakespeare Festival, as well as fabulous local restaurants... If she's full, she can refer...

We stayed in the Juliet room. It was just as nice as the pictures suggested. The bed was comfortable and the bath was a huge jet tub. Lisa the owner was great and very helpful. Our first breakfast was 'only' a small bowl of peaches and oatmeal. We were a bit disappointed since we had read about the delicious meals....

Our first visit to A Midsummer's Dream Bed and Breakfast couldn't be nicer or more memorable. This small B&B is located off of Siskiyou Boulevard, an easy fifteen minute walk to the Shakespeare theaters, in a peaceful neighborhood. We stayed in the beautifully appointed Romeo suite, which included a king-size bed, large bedroom with gas fireplace, writing desk and microwave/refrigerator....

I should have known when I booked The Othello suite at A Midsummer Dream Bed and Breakfast that I had not only 'scored' the very last room at a B and B in Ashland, but that i had scored! Not only was our suite fabulous, but every detail in the entire house is marvelous. The decor is straight out of...

“The Romeo was very private and very quiet. There is another room below the Romeo, but we didn't hear any noise. As it is separate from the main house, it just feels more private and I didn't feel like I had to tiptoe early in the morning.”
