Found it to be quiet, comfortable and has all the right amenities. Pool, jacuzzi, cafe and central location. And really reasonable rates in the off season! Walking distance close to downtown. 1 long block and 2 short blocks after and you are at the REDZONE sports bar at the edge of town, which isn't a very long to walk on... More

We stay here nearly every time that we are in Ashland, which is multiple times per year. The hotel is a short walk from downtown Ashland and its many restaurants, and also close to the university. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The breakfast room has been remodeled somewhat which made it feel more spacious. The rooms are decent... More

Our family have returned for two years and have enjoyed the stay both times. The pool is great for kids and the coffee shop allows for a birds eye view. Easy walk to the town and the festival. There are breakfast lunch and dinner locations nearby. Workout room a partnership with a local gym 1 mile away.

The hotel itself was clean the beds were super uncomfortable you could feel the springs in your back all night they need to be replaced. Also the continental breakfast was a joke it literally was cereal and that was it there was no fresh fruit or anything hot

The room we stayed in appeared to have been recently renovated--clean, attractive decor, "hardwood" floors were a nice touch, comfortable beds. We always enjoy the pool and jacuzzi and although I've never utilized the health club because it's off site, it seems like a good option. Our biggest disappointment is usually the breakfast, although the hot oatmeal is decent. Skip... More

We rented the one king suite with a kitchenette. The room was huge and well decorated! Clean room, comfy beds, nice shower, indoor pool, all made our stay wonderful. The breakfast was ok, not what was shown in the pictures but they had yogurt and oatmeal with lots of toppings for healthy choices. The hotel itself has an old fashioned... More

Quirky, locally-owned, friendly staff with a dated Shakeaspearan motif throughout the hotel. They even provide forms to you can fill out to review the plays you've seen. Results are posted in the lobby. Nice sized rooms, indoor pool, friendly staff. Ten minute walk to downtown. Right next to a grocery store. There's a decent free breakfast, but for something more... Very pleased with the Stratford Inn. We arrived early to the city and the front desk was able to make arrangements for us to get an early check-in. Room clean, location excellent, and all workers very pleasant.

The hotel was nice and it had all the amenities. The only complaint was because our room was facing the street it was rather noisy and found it difficult to get a sound sleep. Otherwise everything was pleasant and the breakfast was filling.

We always appreciate how friendly the staff is each time we stay here. Breakfast is good and the rooms are clean. My kids especially love the indoor pool in the winter . How fun to swim in warm water and look at the snow falling outside. In our room, one bed was very comfortable and the other was as hard... More
