The Carriage House Inn is a lovely inn, very convenient to the wonderfully diverse downtown Aiken restaurants and shops. The staff were helpful, but nothing could make the bed in my room more comfortable other than replacing the mattress; nothing could have eliminated the nasty musty odor in my room other than somehow getting fresh air into it; nothing could...

This place was excellent!! The room, the food and the staff all made our stay wonderful while we were in town. It's located on one of the main streets downtown, so it's so convenient to walk to grab food or shop. I'm trying to find another reason to visit Aiken just so we can stay here again!

The inn has two sections, an antique house elegantly converted to queen suites, and a newer attached section. Breakfasts are served in the original dining room, with charming mix of antique linens, silverware, and crockery. The pleasantly landscaped grounds offer quiet areas for relaxation and privacy. The staff are wonderfully kind and hospitable. All of this comes with remarkable value...

The Inn is lovely with a beautiful garden walkway which connects the original house to the new addition. The room was very nice and very well cleaned. The bathroom was immaculate - it looked as though it had never been used! Breakfast was delicious and the staff very nice and accommodating. Our only glitch was wanting to get some water....

Stayed here for one night in room #123, which is in the main house. Very comfortable accomodations and the room was tastefully decorated. Right in the center of town with walking to many restaurants and shops. Most restaurants were closed on a Sunday night so keep that in mind if you have a choice of nights when to visit Aiken....

In several respects this is seconding other positive reveiws. We were in room 333. But the third floor was no problem since there is an elevator right around the corner. Many fine aspects: the room is commodious, clean, well furnished, and with these: great linens, flat screen TV, bedside lamps (rare these days), and the best shower head I have...

I booked this so I could attend my Niece's wedding. I almost wasn't able to go because right after the wedding I had to fly home for hip replacement surgery. So, a lot of walking was not a viable avenue for me. This place was not only convenient but was like you were part of the family from the time...
