The Hampton is one of the best hotels in Alpine. For me, it was a bit costly as I had to make a last minute reservation. At an AARP or Govt rate, this would be the best. It is a bit out of town which has its pros and cons.

I fully recommend this Hotel when you are staying in Alpine TX. Wonderful staff, very clean rooms, excellent complementary breakfast. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home away from home. Very friendly and out going. My room was excellent, very clean and fresh smelling. The hotel is in a very beautiful place in Texas. Great...

It's your typical Hampton inn. When I checked inn they only had smoking rooms usually a problem for me not this time as I either got a non smoking room or they know how to get rid of the smell. Beds where made very well house keeping at this Hampton is a step above the rest of the Hampton's at...

Great place to stay for demands of this trip. Good location and access to highway. Rooms are very comfortable and convenient, and just what I expect of Hampton. Look forward to getting back to Alpine again soon, and staying here.

Upon researching the Big Bend area for other off beat non chain options, we were very glad we "played it safe" and stayed at a reputable chain, such as Hampton Inn. The Alpine Hampton location proved to be the perfect "base camp" as it was a little over or under an hours drive from such great areas such as: Big...

We spend 5 nights during spring break and had a lovely stay. Clean, comfortable rooms, great proximity to Big Bend National Park and surrounding areas worth driving to. We looked forward to coming back each evening for some R&R and some wine out on the lovely patio. Would definitely stay here again. The staff was extremely pleasant.

This is the nicest Hampton I've ever stayed in. The property is new. Rooms are modern and well furnished. Towels soft. Water pressure is adequate. Breakfast and happy hour are good too. Staff is very helpful. Pool (indoor) is heated to the right temp.

Even though we arrived late in the afternoon after a long, hot day at Big Bend N.P., only to find a "manager's reception" laid out that included an iced tub with cans of Tecate beer (and other drinks), I would still have given this property a top rating. It was so clean and bright that we assumed it was new,...

Excellent location for visiting the McDonald Observatory and to attend one of their Star Parties - was part of a loop trip in the area that included Big Bend National Park, and Terlinngua Ghost Town - Starlight theater and restaurant in Terlingua is a fun experience.
