I fully recommend the Austin Motel. I am on the road 4 days a week almost every week of the year. I decided to try something a little different on my recent stay in Austin. If you ever feel like you get depressed thinking again checking into one more business hotel that is like every other one you are in...

Hotel was conducting renovations while we were here. The facility is very clean, the staff very nice. The only down side was no coffee in room. This is a no frills hotel. The pool looks nice and like I said, it is clean.

Hotel is in the middle of town it's perfect for walking around. The hotel was clean, we had a couple little things wrong like the toilet made loud noises. But all in all it was just fine, and the staff are very nice. Don't miss the coffee shop next door called Jo's.

We stayed as a family of 3 in a "suite". It was very spacious and quirkily furnished and darkly painted. It had a kitchenette but with no kitchen utensils whatsoever which limited its usefulness. The bathroom was adequate but the fixtures and fittings needed updating. The room servicing was a little haphazard. Generally though, we were very comfortable. The room...

I stayed here for a few days and i love this hotel, it was nice and hot and the pool was put to good use. Its a really area to relax in too. Its central to soco lots to explore on foot which is nice as normally a car is needed. Its not the cheapest hotel but worth the money...

We arrived at 7 pm on a Monday, and eventhough the homepage promissed available rooms at different rates they only had the two expensive room types left. So we got to pay almost 250 USD (incl. tax), but then looking forward to a nice room. But the room was not nice. It had terrible lighting, no carpets, lots of traffic...

I stayed here this past October for 2 nights. First off there is no elevator so if you are handicapped or have issues with stairs or carrying your heavy suitcases up flights of stairs then you better request a ground floor room. I had one of the nicer rooms, it was overlooking the pool but relatives had 2nd level rooms...

Ok, let me begin by saying that we enjoyed our stay. The location was our primary reason for staying here because we were attending a show at the Continental Club with is right across the street. It is central to everything (shops, restaurants, clubs, etc.) on South Congress Ave. Parking is free and right in front of your room. The...

Great location. Very basic room with wall murals and mismatched old furniture. Funky and fun but far from luxurious. Bed & chairs not very comfortable but acceptable. Stay here for the experience and fantastic location in the SoCo neighborhood and within easy waking distance to the downtown entertainment district and numerous good restaurants and clubs. No room service. No valet...

Old building, old furniture, but all clean. Rather great rooms; perfect shower, plenty of towels. Swimming pool is a plus. Parking in front of the room Good location: walks to the centre and near to clubs and restaurants. No breakfast available, only coffee and energy bar. Expensive bottle of water; expensive motel all so.
