Our second visit to the Adams House was, as expected, delightful. We stayed in the Hyde Park Suite and enjoyed the enclosed porch, beautiful bedroom, and spacious bathroom. During our last visit we bedded down in the Elisabet Nye room and found it comfortable and cool in the simmering summer heat of August. Breakfasts are scrumptious and served with helpful...

We spent two nights in the Hyde Park room at Adams House, which is a beautifully restored house in a nice residential neighborhood. There are good restaurants within walking distance, and street or driveway parking is free and convenient. Our room was small, with plenty of natural light and a very high bed (stepstool provided). One thing we really didn't...

Thank you for staying with us and we are glad you enjoyed the Hyde Park neighborhood and breakfasts at the Adams House. All of our rooms vary and can accommodate different needs for our guests. The Hyde Park room is one of our smaller Queen sized rooms. I would suggest booking one of our spacious King sized suites which might...

A few weeks ago I stayed at Adams house for three nights! I could not have picked a better place to stay. I was visiting Austin to check out the city and law school at UT for my daughter who is currently living overseas. Hyde park is charming, quiet and so lovely...but close enough to where ever you want to...

This home is a beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. The home was rescued from demolition and lovingly restored and decorated beautifully in 1998. We stayed in the William T. Adams suite, an upstairs room with a large king bedroom, roomy bath and very large sun porch with a sleeper sofa and assorted chairs. Breakfast was a very nice variety...

Great central location but on a quiet vintage residential street in a historic, leafy neighborhood. Liz is the perfect host. The house is perfectly kept up yet has that special feeling you hope for in a 100 year old home. Amy prepared wonderful gourmet breakfasts including special and unique egg dishes, homemade baked goods, all of which tasted wonderful. The...

Loved the location. 3 blocks to restaurants/bakery/grocery. A few more blocks to shopping center on Red River Street. Breakfast was wonderful, rooms were clean. Could not ask for more. We like to walk, so there were MANY restaurants around the U of Texas (Rudy's BB'q, Trudy's Tex/Mex, Black's BB'q). Drive to 6th street and SOCO was 10-15 minutes. Will definitely...
