My wife and I stayed at The Heywood in August and can't say enough about the warmth and hospitality of the staff, not to mention our overall great experience at the property. It's very well designed, quaint and oh so charming. We also absolutely loved the free use of their bicycles! Thanks Heywood - you guys are cool!

Awe Heywood, our sister city home. We love this place and would never consider staying anywhere else while it is operating. East Austin is thriving and in the 2 years since our last visit it has exploded with new businesses that you have a smorgasboard of good times at your door step. Off street carparking, luxurious linens and comfortable beds...

We loved staying at the Heywood last weekend: Kathy and her staff are warm and welcoming, our room was fabulous, and the hotel is just bliss. It is everything you would ever want of a small boutique hotel. And more. We lived in Austin for two years, and so we're a bit biased against the craziness of 6th Street. The...

The Heywood is a really lovely, hip little hotel (only 6 rooms) in the somewhat grungy neighborhood of East Side, Austin on up and coming E. Cesar Chavez St. We loved the place and the neighborhood. Try it, you'll like it. We went out on foot every morning for breakfast: there are the usual food trucks but do NOT miss...

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights - as part of our honeymoon - and loved every minute. It's a beautifully decorated and modern hotel, with just 7 rooms, and it feels very private and personal. The staff couldn't have been more helpful (before & during our stay), they clearly know the city inside-out and provided a number...

Just a fantastic place. Great vibe, outstanding customer service, super area, very comfortable. This place has a warmth you're never going to find at a chain hotel. Many nightspots and the world class offerings of La Barbecue within a couple minutes walking distance. Not right in the heart of downtown and WELL worth the short walk/ride it takes to get...

I stayed at the Heywood with 12 of my friends for a weekend. We were able to rent out the whole hotel so it was totally private. The location was ideal. Just a few blocks from some of the best BBQ, tacos and coffee shops Austin has to offer and a bit away from the rowdiness of 6th St. The...

On our first trip to Austin we decided that we wanted to choose a hotel that was like Austin - funky but nice - and not a big box hotel. The Heywood is that and more. It's small, only 7 rooms, and high end. The staff is exceptionally nice and welcoming, and meet your every need. Just say what you...

Spent wonderful 3 day weekend in Austin TX. Stayed at great boutique hotel in East Austin called the Heywood. We were 3 couples and stayed at this perfect place with 7 contemporary rooms and had wonderful outside patio sitting area . The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff, including Maris and Margaret, were unbelievably helpful with restaurant suggestions...

What a little gem of a hotel, in a great area of a great city. Loved the hotel and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They offered lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat & drink which I'm really glad we followed. They have bikes available too which we used to take a quick spin...
