I have been on two cattle drives at the Rocking R. They are about as real as you can get. The ranch is very nice but if you are looking for an upscale situation you may not like this. It is the real thing not a pretentious situation. The people are really wonderful. Brandon and Brandi, the ranch managers, are...

I came across the Rockin' R on the internet, having wanted to be a cowboy all my life, I had to do go. I bought myself a pair of boots, some wranglers, a cowboy hat and was on my way. As you drive through Koosharem and Antimony, you realize that you really are in cowboy country. Antimony is one of...

We like to ride and had visited Southern Cross Ranch in Georgia recently and wanted another opportunity for that kind of experience during our trip to Utah. The two resorts were very different. Rockin R is definitely a western venue. The area is remote, there is no cell phone service, they have one TV with a dish network connection, though...

After some years dreaming of one day going on a real old west cattle drive I finely pulled all stops after reading about the Rockin R Ranch in parade magazine several weeks ago. Southern Utah really sealed the deal being that it's on the top of my list of favorite places to visit with so many national treasures within a...

My partner and I stayed for 4 days of a whole lot of fun times this August 2012. We were on horses for an average of 5hrs each day - my partner is an experienced rider and I'm not but fearless and athletic, and we both had great riding experiences. Trail rides are beautiful, rounding up horses in the early...

My husband and I, daughter and grandchildren spent time at the ranch. At first I was a little nervous because we are from Pa and had a hard time adjusting to the quiet but after just a couple of hours I realized we live in the wrong part of the country. I'm sure that our love for the area was...

Just finished a family reunion at Rockin' R Ranch from Jun 25 to Jun 28, 2012. Managers Brandon and Brandy could not have been better. They really made sure we had a good time. We had 95 people ranging in age from just a few months to 74 years old. Everyone had a good time and there were things for...

My wife and I vacationed here and were treated to a great experience. We got to participate in all the ranching activities we wanted to do. The young couple running this ranch, Brandy and Brandon, bust thier butts to make sure the guests are having a great time. We went on a really fun cattle drive and many trail rides...

my grown up son and i went on a fabulous cattle drive led by Orly and cowboy mike. It was fantastic. Each brilliant day was rounded off by the group gathering around the camp fire,to listen to stories from Orly, who was a wonderful storyteller. Having not ridden for several years i felt confident in my horse who proved to...

After many stays at Ranches over the years this will be the best ranch we have ever stayed at. We were taken care of in every way. The Ranch personnel could not have been more professional. Our Horses matched our riding experience perfectly. The food was excellent (Ranch food) especially the BBQ beef. The rooms were clean. And the views...

“All rooms on 1st and second floor have rest rooms- we did not have a bad room. Plus you are so tired from all the activities you may tend to just fall right to sleep. No cell service, but they did have Wi-Fi. It was nice to be "unplugged" for 4 days.”
