WOW! We stayed here the night of October 7th. Wanted to end our vacation at friendly, peaceful B & B. Lorraine and Richard greeted us like family and gave us a tour of their fantastic facility including the lovely historic restaurant. Dinner was excellent and the service was second to none. Thanks for treating Nancy and I like family. Hope...

We ate dinner here. We did not have reservations, but we were seated promptly. The atmosphere is quaint and inviting. Service is excellent. The menu is limited, but they also had several specials for the evening. We were so impressed, we made reservations for another evening!

Stayed for 1 night and were pretty happy with our stay. The owner/chef is very friendly and stepped out of her kitchen to greet us, and also to chat with us at check-out. She gave us a tour of this very old house, giving us historical details about the common areas, the old oven in the yard, the horse hook...

We were 2 couples seeking a new dining experience while staying in Rouses Point, NY. A recommendation took us across Lake Champlain to Alburgh, Vermont, only 8 miles away. This restaurant is attached to a B&B and accommodates about 25 diners. Reservations are best and we were accommodated on only 2 hours notice. They have a reasonable variety on the...

We bicycled in on our way to Quebec. Richard and Lorraine were so welcoming and gave a quick tour of their 1775 home. The spinning room had 2 nice queen beds and ice water pitcher which is s nice touch. We enjoyed walking their neighborhood down by the water and their lovely back deck for drinks and the Best chocolate...

My husband and I were staying at Grand Isle for the week and were looking for a special place to have dinner. We loved the restaurant! The dining room is quaint and charming. The waitress was excellent, she was a one woman show and handled everything with ease. She stopped by our table several times to check in with us...

We were a group of 7 cyclists. It was wonderful to arrive and relax on the deck with our drinks and snacks before going up to our rooms. The rooms are nicely furnished but the bathrooms need some updating. We did dine in the restaurant but found our meals just average. The one waitress was so busy with all the...

We stayed three nights in early July. The building is very old and has a certain charm about it, but with that comes smaller rooms with sloping ceilings, which was particularly problematic in our bathroom. We were in the Cannonball Room. The shower was in an old claw-foot tub, which made standing upright difficult for me at 5'8". let alone...

This is about the restaurant at Ransom Bay. This is a small restaurant - maybe 25 seats and all the food is freshly made. We were a party of 3 and 2 ate the fresh fish - haddock, salmon, one had chicken with apricot sauce. My own haddock was with a white wine lemon reduction that was perfect. We started...

It's a nice drive thru the islands to get to Alburgh and the Ransom Bay Inn. It is a very old and quaint place that you should try at least once. We had our usual martini's with Grey Goose at $9 each. They were very good. I had the rib eye steak at $26 and my wife had the half...
