There is a lot of good about this hotel. But there are also some things that need work. If my in-room experience had been a little better I would have given it a 4. Full disclosure, I almost never give a 5.

It took us about 30 minutes. We first took the Metro (Blue Line from Crystal City) to Federal Triangle station, where we exited and began walking south on 12th Street NW. In five minutes, we reached Constitution Avenue, where we turned right and could see the museum about two long blocks up the street, on the lefthand side. The museum entrance is on Constitution Avenue, so this is undoubtedly the easiest and fastest way to get there from the Hampton Inn.
