Everything about this place was great. Beautiful location right on the lake with access to kayaks, row boats, and canoes that allowed us to explore the lake. We stayed in the Col. Bob cabin and loved it. The cabin was very old, but extremely clean and well taken care of. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch of our cabin...

A friend and I stayed at these cabins in June. We stayed in Storm King - lots of stairs to get to the cabin but perfect once there. The lake is beautiful especially at sunrise but hard to get to from the cabin because the stairs weren't very clear and the beach is covered in driftwood logs. The owners were...

This was our fifth visit over 20 years. We go back again and again for the serenity, the wonderful innkeepers, the remarkable setting, and next time, it will be to check in with Walter, the genial host-cat. If you enjoy the outdoors and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet, it gets no better than this.

Lochaerie Resort is simply gorgeous. Peaceful and tranquil setting on the shore of lake Quinault in the Quinault Rainforest this place is miles from anywhere so get groceries in Aberdeen or Forks. The property is beautifully landscaped with views of the lake, mountains, and forests and has 6 spacious, rustic, historical cabins set far apart from one another guaranteeing privacy...

We stayed over the July 4 the weekend for 3 nights in a one bedroom cabin. The lake is beautiful. They had kayaks you could use for free. Our cabin had a fireplace and the first bundle of wood was free. We used the fireplace each night. The welcoming staff were friendly and helpful in our queries about fishing and...

Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights in Storm King at the end of Spring Break. We found it to be comfortable, cozy and and ideal end for Olympic National Park adventure. Our girls loved playing in the upstairs room, building forts down by the lake and playing with the resident cat. It was nice to be able to cook...

We stayed in a lakeside cabin which was small but beautifully furnished with historically sympathetic pieces and comfortable. Right by the lakeshore you feel very much amongst the wilderness of the Olympic peninsula and the views are superb from the terraces (there are two). You need to be aware of what you're getting; these are lovingly restored early 20th century...

Stayed for a few nights on our honeymoon trip to the pacific northwest. We had done a lot of hiking and whatnot by the time we checked in to the cabin so it was a perfect place to relax and connect. Sitting on the porch and grilling fresh seafood that we had bought and brought with us. Watching otters play...

My husband, sister and I stayed 2 nights in Storm King in September. The cabin was so very cool! We had a wonderful time exploring the rain forest during the day. I prepared our meals in advance and took them with us. After a day of hiking we returned to our cabin for lasagne dinner, etc. The kitchen has a...

Don't go here unless you want a clean, quiet, cozy cabin with spectacular views and wonderful innkeepers. You won't be pampered in this rustic cabin but that's exactly what's so special about this place. Just a great, clean, unique, lakeside cabin experience that I'd highly recommend. Tom and Chris' advice on places to see and things to do should definitely...
