I love this guest house because it is a good window to see Japanese Culture. Nice people, nice views, simple but elegant interior decoration get me pretty impressed. The kitchen and the supermarket near the house are also handy for cooking lover like me. If you want a peaceful place to relax your body and mind in Kamakura with no...

Hello Andy, it's Momo! Thank you for staying with us. You were always funny and made us laugh. And the soup you made was very good. We know you'll come back someday and we look forward to see you! Thank you.

This completed my first bagpacking experience. It's so simple and so Japanese! You can get together with other travellers while eating sweet potato. They had the Mochi-zukuri (making rice cake) event on my check out day which I wasn't able to join but would love to attend if I could. Either or I loved all the experience! I'd definitely go...

The staff and the vibe here are perfect. Probably the cleanest hostel I've stayed at and really made everyone feel at home within the first night. The hostel is designed in a traditional Japanese style, and the common space is perfect for late night hangs. A must visit when in Japan.

Wonderful staff, beautiful common room. Traditional dorm, w/ futons. Good location, not really central though. Very clean and well mantained. Didnt use the bar tho. Would recommend to anyone visiting Karakura. Fantastic ambience and Good fun.

I stayed at Kamakura Guesthouse twice,1 night for the first time (sep 2014) and then 5 nights for the second time (apr 2015). First I would like to point out that the whole guesthouse is very clean and comfortable. The common room is a great place to meet people, and the dorm can provide you a good sleep - it...

The whole architecture, interior and environment was perfect... Staff was friendly and helpful and always greet with a big smile... It was a comfy sleep pad.. Location was away from the buzzling tourist spot but close enough with the available transport... I love the living room area, perfect to mix around with other guest... My only problem was the curfew...

Overall, enjoyed my stay. The guesthouse received quite a number of local tourists and the female dorm allowed for mingling. My only regret was I did not make an effort chatting with the staffs. This is a traditional house hence noise levels are difficult to control. At 10pm, staffs will enter the dorms to switch off lights, not sure for...

Friendly and helpful staff, ample room in the dorm, and comfortable futons as well - not always a given. There's a cute little bar downstairs, and a well-stocked kitchen available for guests (and staff) to use. The location is a short bus ride from Kamakura's downtown, but far enough to escape the overall vibe of tourism run amok. The Kamakura...

My favorite accomodation in Japan, really clean and comfy, we feel at home here! It's clean and the staff is awesome, they speak english. You can rent a bike for 500Y and laundry for 100Y. At the end it's cheap and excellent, you should book and go there if you are comming to kamara. Jeremie.
