the hotel area is terrible, far of town center. the food is great and shopping too, but the beaches are all dirty, and the water is dark. not like the rest of brasil.

As title says, stay FAR FAR away from this old, dirty, bug infested, unpleasant, nowhere land hotel. We were around 50 tourists coming from S. Luis and Lençois Maranhenses after 1 week of travelling, originally from Portugal, and i can tell you that from those 50, only 2 stayed more than 1 night at this hotel. After we saw the...

I can't stress this enough. Do not stay at this property. First of all it is in the middle of gangland. Extreemly dangerous. Workers leave at 3;00 pm cause of the crime. Very far from the popular areas. Is near a beach but take a cab from othere hotel. No resturants close at all. Can't walk anywhere. The breakfast lousy....
