We (two friends and I) had a great stay at Iuri's place on our visit to Iguazu Falls. As other reviewers have mentioned, you are basically staying in someone's home, with family members around and watching TV - if this makes you uncomfortable, this is not the place for you. For us, we didn't spend much time in the house...

I stayed here with 2 friends and the family was really great and friendly with good recommendations on things to do (we had a really short trip). They were especially excited that two of us had Indian heritage and were very keen on hosting more Indians :) Yuri was also kind enough to drive me to the local bus station...

We spent only about 30 hours in total in Iguacu (just there for the falls), but Yuri and the rest of the family at Foz made us feel incredibly welcome and taken care of during out time there. From picking us up at the airport, to ensuring a great spread for breakfast, to suggesting travel plans, Yuri and the family...

What can I say? Iuri was an amazing host. Extremely accommodating and easing going. The morning breakfast was phenomenal--like something served at a hotel! Really clean, beautiful, and relaxing house with a pool table, pool, and BBQ area! He gave us so many great tips and knows all the ins and outs! Walking to the mall was nice after a long...

We spent 4 nights in this warm & welcoming family home. It is located on a quiet street just next to ave. parana and the bus stop. The rooms are clean, tidy and nicely put together. Juri's mother prepares fresh cake or empanadas every day to go with the huge breakfast. You can walk to a near shopping center for...

The place is located in a residential area of town, a nice and quiet neighborhood with a big shopping mall nearby. Was a bit hard to find the place because there is no sign on the house. It's a big house converted to a guesthouse, u get a clean well decorated room, there is one bathroom for the floor. The...

I just spent 1 night with Joao, Maria and their 2 sons at Casa do Turista. Lovely people. The street Gregorio Dotto is not well known by taxi drivers and it could be difficult to find the place, but once there is easy to access all other places. Joao is a very friendly person who will assist you to organize...

If you can tell the difference, this is more somebody's house rather than a B&B (no B&B sign at the front, members of the family watching tv in the lounge all day). The family is really friendly and will try to organise everything for you at good prices, but is not very well located (quite a long walk from all...

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at Casa do Turista. We are Americans living in Brazil so we are familiar with standards of quality and service in both countries. The Casa is indeed just that - a casa (house) and home to the owner Yuri and his parents Sr. João and Dona Rita. They are very friendly and accommodating....
