Very nice group of employees, they’re helpful and professionals from the front desk reception to the waiters and cleaners! Rooms were spacious and the view to the pool marvelous! Food was delicious and had a variety of options. It’s about a 15-20 minute Uber drive from the Iguazu Falls but one of the closest hotels to it so it’s reasonable priced and I loved the fact that they call every afternoon to offer a discount for buffet dinners if you reserve in advance!! My family and I loved this place!! We’ll stay here again for sure!!
We had lovely time at Vivaz hotel. Personnel was very friendly, our room was silent and the pool area was beautiful. Hotel arranged us a private guide for our Argentina falls trip which was wonderful. Thank you for your hospitality.
First- it took an hour to check us in because we had five rooms. Second, the evening staff were incredibly rude and tried to overcharge us for our rooms. Third, the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Fourth, the bathrooms do not have ventilation and therefore had mildew covering the ceiling. The outdoor facilities and game area for kids were nice- even though half of the putt putt course does not have the green carpet it is supposed to. The breakfast was great and the check out process was smooth. Overall, however, we were disappointed with our stay.
Staff - particularly at the pool bar - surly and unhelpful and although I do appreciate the language difficulty if you point to a beer tap and raise three fingers I would think that's international language for three beers....but not there....just a blank stare. Main restaurant was shut all the time we were there, so just the buffet which was a bit 'samey', Still it's a great base if you're going to see the falls and park, and the helipad isn't too far down the road for the falls too. Huge touristy shop down the road the other way which is fun to visit! It's like a warehouse!!
Staffs are very unhelpful, forget about flexibility. There is no information about the hotel were to call from the room. Particularly, before check out, we do not know which number to dial to get help. At dinner - on the second-floor staff does not know how to deal with guests. We want to have dinner there from the menu, unfortunately, your colleagues have no idea they don’t even understand simple English “dinner” OR “food”. At the reception desk staff are very very very unfriendly apart from one helpful colleague at the reception desk who is called Shelling Tom (a slim gentleman )
We stayed 2 nights overall very clean, rooms are good size, wonderful housekeeper services, the pool and water park were ok staff at water park not friendly at all. The food served at the buffet was alright nothing very fancy , the a lá cart restaurant was awesome I suggest not to buy the whole package with meals just breakfast . Bartender needs a lot of improvement on all areas : customer service , the quality of the drinks all of it . Front desk amazing very friendly . Staff needs to be trained how to use google translate.
Fantastic hotel with super friendly staff. It’s right in the middle of all the attractions of Foz de Iguaçu and within minutes of the borders to Paraguay and Argentina. The food is amazing and the pool is great. They also have a water park inside the hotel. The activities organised by Rodrigo Carioca, including group activities at the pool and a trail walk down to the river, were tons of fun and he did a great job of creating a great atmosphere for everyone to enjoy themselves. Definitely recommend this hotel and getting involved in everything at the pool.
When we organized our trip to visit the Iguazú Waterfalls, we only wanted a simply stay where we could sleep for the two night we would be there. However, when we looked for options, it soon became clear to us that we were going to choose Vivaz Cataratas. Now that we've been there we fully recommend it. They speak Portuguese, English and Spanish and the prices are very good. So much so we ended up staying in a Suite! Also, they had live music by the pool and that's that it's winter there so imagine during summer! A place to go back to for sure.
Perfect swimming pool, water park, every day had animators for children. The same breakfast every day, so if you plan to stay more days - be prepared for the same food every day. Good lunch and good dinner for additional price. Very bad cleaning in the rooms! We had problem with the pipe in the bathroom, it was leaking, and there was also a problem with the air conditioner, the drops of water from the air conditioner were failing onto the bed where our child was sleeping, it was very wet all the time. The made for sure saw the situation but didn’t warn about it the administration. In general it’s very good place if you plan to stay maximum for three days
I have been at Vivaz Cataratas from 19th to 28th December. It was the most amazing, comfortable, clean, well looked after. The staff are just fantastic! I will be back in April or May at some point. If you want to recharge your batteries, it is the best...
