This hotel is in an interesting spot, but it's off the side of the main road, so you have pretty easy access to all points of interest. The hotel itself is nothing greater than standard. The rooms are basic, and so is the breakfast. A/C and TV worked fine, and the shower got pretty warm as well (it wasn't great water pressure but it was good enough). The best part about this hotel was the service. The people at the counter were really nice and helpful. And the guy at breakfast was really sweet and attentive... one night we arrived around 9pm and he was still at the restaurant working!! Overall we were content with our stay, especially since the price was cheap!

Pretty standard hotel, but the service gives them an extra star. Basic room and breakfast, all OK. No heating in the room, but probably only an issue for about 1 week of the year... very nice looking pools, but didn't try them as it was winter

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to assess on Trip Advisor, your opinion is very important to us. I would like to comment that the winter here in Foz is really short and only lasts for a few days during the season. It is very nice to know that our customer service makes the difference and was perceived by you. We hope to welcome you again and who knows over the summer to enjoy our swimming pools. Best Regards, Paula Basile

When I first arrived I wondered what I had let myself in for! It's not in the greatest spot, perched off the side of the main road and in a industrial area with car wrecking yards all around. Check in was okay - a mixture of my limited Portuguese and their slightly better English got us across the line. We had booked 2 x standard doubles (I was traveling with a couple) but when we opened the doors to our ground floor rooms we did an immediate about face and headed back to reception. The saying "couldn''t swing a cat" springs to mind. We were given an immediate no charge upgrade to "deluxe" doubles on the first floor which were marginally larger and certainly much brighter. The hot water is a bit hit and miss but we worked it out in the end. What saved the day was the excellent service. The hotel has been under new management for about a month and their enthusiasm and desire to help was outstanding. The manager went out of her way to help with transportation to the Brazilian side of the Falls on our first day and then again to the Argentinian side the next. The hotel shuttle was new, the driver excellent and they did all the hard work for us arranging visa's, entry and exit docs and getting our passports stamped. We literally didn't have to raise a finger. The trip to the falls (both sides) took about an hour and the shuttle was there to pick us up and take us back home bang on the time arranged. The hotel itself is basic but when you consider it was costing us around AUD$38 a night per room it was great value. Clean, not overly noisy except in the mornings as doors slammed and people talked in the corridors, adequate breakfast and lunch/dinner options and the pool was clean, if it overlooked the highway. If you are looking for a no frills, cheap place to stay for a couple of nights purely as a base to get out to the falls (which really is the only reason to be in Iguacu anyway) then this is a good option. If you are a traveler who pays $40 a night and then complains about everything then maybe try somewhere else ;-)
