I have been to the island several times staying in different hostels and that was the best placed in which I have booked mylsef there. Simply accomodations and an awesome vibe. Dinho and Rafa are lovely to the guests! The view from the external area is just amazing. Ideal for those who want to chill out far from the buzy...

I can only presume that the lonely planet affect has hit here. What was once prehaps a hippy hotspot with mountain shower and jungle retreat is now an disorganised, run down, dirty dribbling pipe via a jungle trek that without a decent backpack or any degree of determination is a no go. The hike is 30min, 20min up hill -...

The lodge is a 30-minute walk from the boat landing in central Abraão, along a steep and fairly difficult jungle path. When we arrived, we found that the staff had forgotten about our reservation, and they still had to clean the rooms in the late afternoon. We got a room with a broken window and fan (the latter was subsequently...

NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED FROM THE WEBSITE AND REVIEWS. THE MAN WHO RUNS THE LODGE WAS DRUNK AND AGGRESSIVE. My girlfriend and I stayed at the lodge for 3 nights for NYE 2015-6. I am English and have lived in Rio for four years, my girlfriend is Brazilian. We had a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AT THE LODGE. So bad that...

The location of the place is beautiful, although it takes some effort to get there (as other have remarked). The accommodation itself is reasonably basic, especially considering the unpredictable electricity on the island and the fact that most Brazilian showers need electricity for hot water. The dinner (40 reais per person) was also great and big! We had a great...

What a nice place with a perfect view in the morning and afternoon! The owners are very friendly. The guy is full of good stories and his English is good! His wife serves good breakfast. We asked to have dinner one night, and this was very good as well, for only 40 real. If you would like to do the...

I had a nice experience overall: the location is very nice, spectacular. The lodge is on top of a cliff, and you reach it by walking a good 25 minutes uphill. If you are looking for a full immersion in nature, this is the place for you. The host, is an outgoing guy, and very laid back. Well, that is...

I went to the Jungle Lodge in November and slept there for two nights in the bungalow. I got a very warm welcome from Juulja (she helps the owner Dino for thee months). The bungalow is beautiful! It is half open and you have a beautiful look over the jungle. The birds will wake you up in the morning. Dino...

This is truly an experience of a lifetime! The host Dino, is the most friendly and enthusiastic guy ever! The Lodge itself is situated in the middle of the tropical forest, where you can really come to rest and enjoy the beauty of the fresh fruit (mango's, avocado's, coconut) for breakfast, the forest noises, the birds, monkey's and other animals...

Jungle lodge is a lovely house located in the jungle not far from town (a 15 minute walk). The view is spectacular, the owner very friendly and the garden lovely. At breakfast some of the fruits and vegetables came from the garden of the Jungle Lodge itself. Nice and relaxed place to stay.
