The hotel is in the center of Abraão, but you won't hear the noises from the nightlife. So you will stay in a great location and have a good night of sleep. You must have a talk with the owner of the hotel, she can give you great tips about Ilha Grande, she also leaves a book with every information...

My daughter and I have just returned from a marvelous three days stay at Aratinga. It is a beautiful tree filled spot with quirky little paths, hammocks on the balcony and birdsong in the mornings. The room was small because we wanted twin beds but had everything we needed and a spacious bathroom with lots of hot water. And spotlessly...

We stayed here for two nights and had s great time. The owner Renny is very kind and helpful and English speaking. The room (no. 3 ) was nice thought small and with a small bathroom but everything functioned. In front there is a terrace with two chairs and a table - and a hammock. The garden is very nice...

In the interests of being completely honest, I did not stay at Aratinga, but that makes the review all the more meaningful... A mix up in communication many months ago meant that I didn't have a booking at Aratinga as I had thought I did. That doesn't sound like a good start to considering a place worthy of five stars,...

We had some great times at Aratinga In. Rennie, the owner of the pousada was great - she was always happy to help and make suggestions on what to do around the island, where to eat, what vendors to use, etc. based on what you were looking for. Rennie (Hennie as she is affectionately known by locals) and her staff...

The Artinga is a great choice to stay in Ilha Grande. The rooms are good size. Very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the shower great, with plenty of hot water and good pressure (especially in the chalets). The breakfast was very good with plenty of options, and the afternoon tea is great when coming back from a hike or...

Our experience at Aratinga Inn was amazing! The pousada itself makes you feel like you're in a jungle paradise with flowers and lush vegetation growing every where. The island of Ilha Grande has a lot to do between hiking, snorkeling, soaking up the sun on the beach. The pousada is pretty centrally located with only a few minutes walk to...

The real ilhe Grande experience is made complete when you stay at Aratinga. Rennie has thought of everything and will give you the information to go with it. Whether you have forgotten your hiking poles or a plug adaptor she will be able to fix things for you. The rooms are lovely, with the new chalets being everything you could...

We had one of the new chalets which we thought was very good, because everythigng was kept in real good shape for Brazil and maybe its not so dense and calmer down there then at the old chalets. But that is of course just our opinion. Rennie is keeping an eye on everything and has a good feeling for oragnization...
