Lovely place to rest up after a day exploring. Don't expect five standard amenities as it's an older building but very clean, lovely staff and excellent breakfast. Two minutes round the corner from the bus station, town centre and shops. They have some very friendly cats in the pousada just in case you don't like cats!! They are very friendly...

Very clean, and well kept. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the last detail: it has no ability to adapt to new circumstances. When I asked for hot water one day, it sounded like a huge problem. On the final day, I had to leave at 7:30 for work and asked for a simple breakfast, just...

Lovely pousada just off the main high street and within easy walking distance to the bus terminal and historic centre. Our room was quite spacious and very clean. Breakfast was quite simple consisting of bread, cheese, ham, bananas, melon, cake, but was fine and a good enough to start the day! The receptionists spoke little English but it didn't matter...

Pousada Pal. Imperial is nice closed area for residents (I would say kind of American motels style ) a very friendly staff there with many entertainment ( jacuzzi, outside bar next to pool, steam sauna, fitness area, small swimming pool for babies and kids )you probably will need after long walk in historic town or swimming on very nice beaches.....

We had a wonderful time staying at Pousada Palmeira Imperial. The staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens surrounding the pool are quite nice, and add to the relaxing atmosphere of the grounds. The hammocks, bar and relaxing evening lighting add to the overall ambiance of the property. The rooms are very nice, clean, and spacious. This pousada is close...

Enjoyed our stay here! The breakfast is excellent! The room was fine ( we were staying the room right next to the check-in on the main floor). The pool was lovely to have and the hot tub was nice at night. Beautiful grounds as well! The bus station is very close so it was nice for us to not have...

Pousada Palmeira Imperial is definitely worth the price. Breakfast was simple but delicious, the triple suite in which I stayed was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Nature is all around, giving the pousada a very cozy feel. It does invite mosquitoes, but the pousada offers repellents in all suites. Although the first receptionist wasn't friendly, the other staff members...

Nice pousada with an excellent breakfast. The location is a short walk outside of the historic center as well as the bus station (be sure to check out Cachoeira Tobaga and Trinidade). The pool was nice (cold) but the hot tub was dirty. We were a family of four and the room we stayed in was comfortable, I would stay...

We came in the off season. Signed up and paid online site-unseen (other than internet reviews). It's a nice place. Close walk to downtown but a haven in its four garden walls. A modest swimming pool, sauna and hot tub added to our kids delight. Room is basic with a queen bed and two singles for our kids. Big open...

Paraty is full of attractions: a World Heritage town with excellent restaurants, international music and literary festivals, located near an archipelago of some 300 gorgeous islands dotted with beaches, waterfalls and pristine waters great for diving. From that perspective, this hotel's main attractions — the beautiful swimming pool, the collective jacuzzi and the well-kept gardens — can be a plus,...

“In the reception, ask for rooms in the annex (if you want to stay closer to the historic town; if you prefer to use the hotel facilities, stay in the main building); make your reservation earlier on the internet to get the best prices. Rooms in the back for the annex are quieter”
