The hostel is a family business. They all friendly and helpful. Bruno checked us in, recommended places to see. We got Cachaca on arrival on the house, just to taste brazilian spirit :) We stayed in 4-bed room with bathroom. Clean and tidy. Breakfast served outside in the patio/ garden. We were there during carnival so it was noisy at...

Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming to the hostel, we felt like friends! I enjoyed the saturday night party with good and typical songs. Very good breakfast included. The room was well presented, clean and the best, it had a private bathroom. Location is good because is not so noisy as the centre, it is fine walking to the...

We stayed for one night on a weekend to get to know Paraty. The staff were very helpful with all of our needs and suggested various places to visit and things to do in our limited time so we could make the most of it. We ended up visiting the 'cachaça' factory and waterfalls, Trinidade beach, and the old town...

We stayed here for a week and it wasn't long enough. The hostel was clean, comfy and in a central location so you could walk everywhere you need. But the BEST thing about this hostel is it's owner and host Alan. No only will he greet you with a friendly smile but he will give you all the information and...

Rooms, kitchen facilities and communal area was great. Easy to meet other travellers and hit the beaches together! Alan, the hostel owner was awesome! Anything you needed to know and more. Super...

Good: The owner Alan is a very nice guy and had a lot of helpful advice for our many questions, including where to get buses from and which beaches to visit. He had set up a projector in the lounge to watch all the Football World Cup matches which was awesome. The breakfast each day was fresh and delicious. It...
