PROS: 1- Staff are friendly and helpful, though they don't speak English much, but they use Google translate and it's actually kind of fun :) 2- Hotel's location is lovely scenically, close to a lake and perfect for jogging, boat riding, walking, etc. It has a nice view of the Quitandinha "castle" which looks beautiful. 3- Breakfast is quite good. 4- Internet is fast and reliable. 5- Swimming pool is nice. CONS: 1- Rooms are a bit worn out. In the bathrooms, you can see lots of oxidation on the mirror, and smell the metal rust of the pipes. It gives the impression of dirtiness even though it's clean. (Note: they have a new section that is brand new, but I didn't get rooms in that section) 2- It's too far from downtown. I stayed here because I had business at the nearby LNCC, but I can imagine that a tourist might be inconvenienced by the distance to downtown. 3- Not much amenity (only soap, shampoo, and minibar)…

Friendly staff, rooms (in the newer part at least) are spacious but not great - and more care should be taken in the construction regarding the humidity, breakfast is simple and finished quite early. Seems overpriced compared to other hotels in town.
