This hotel was selected due to be very near of my office's headquarters.
It is a very quiet hotel. Rooms are very spacious, and breakfast is superb.
Location is very good: shopping malls and restaurants are nearby.
Nothing works as should. Air conditioning noisy, not cooling...
Few options in restaurant, front desk not receptive, takes too much time to attend requests
Liners and maters seems old and dirty

Hello! This hotel is located in Barra da Tijuca, a neighborhood west from the main attractions of Rio. It’s a big residential area and many business are moving there to avoid long commutes for its employees. Currently this entire area is undergoing heavy construction once it will be the main site for the upcoming Summer Olympic Games in 2016. Therefore, staying anywhere in Barra da Tijuca for tourism will be a significant hassle. You’ll take very long to get to Rio’s main attractions (+ 75 min each way), taxi will be expansive and you’ll not enjoy the city.
