Nice clean room with a walk in shower, house keeping well kept. Breakfast included each morning, Acros is located right in the heart of the Lapa district, the streets were filled with people having a great time, nice clean fun, nice place to stay. Will be staying here again.

I always stay in Lapa when I have a short stopover in Rio because from there you get to Galeao quicker and better than from copacabana . If you just want it simple and efficient and low price , this hotel is it. You fall out of the hotel into lapa nightlife and gastronomy, with restaurants like Belmonte and mestre... More

The hotel is not fancy but the bed is good, the shower is relly good and the breakfast is also really good. For me, this 3 things are the most importante in a hotel. The internet works wery well, but the most importante is the location. The hotel is located in front of a bus station, close to the metro... More

On arrival in Rio, my taxi driver expressed surprise that my business had booked me the Arcos Rio Palace, mainly because of the area it's located in, Lapa. I read many reviews on here that described it as "bohemian". I'm sure it's interesting, but the advice was not to walk around alone after dark. Anyway, on to the hotel itself.... More

Nice clean room, poor breakfast, friendly people, poor english speakers like the most of brazilians. Very nice neighborhood for nightlife with bars with live music and great food and drinks but also weird people.

Arcos is, as expected an old hotel located in the bohemian streets of Lapa. The locations is full of bars, dance clubs and restaurants. Lapa is an awesome place to visit in Rio, specially considering nightlife. It is rather distant from the top beaches, though. Since it is a bohemian venue, expect to find some prostitution happening around the hotel.... More

The hotel is well located, in an area close to the city center , a street full of pubs and restaurants and also close to public transport. But if you are planning of heading daily to the beach, then it is a bit far away . As for the hotel : breakfast was great , especially if you like exotic... More

My stay in Arcos Hotel was just amazing. The hotel is simple, but has very good plus in items. Location - is well locating, Lapa, if you are interested in nightlife and experiencing different food. Lapa never sleeps, so if you are looking for a quiet place, definitely is not the place to be. From there is easy to go... More

I got the opportunity to be hosted here many times before and I have to say that it was not good at all, but in my last stay I had a good surprise! Beside the room improvements I could see others amends beyond visual plan. Of course this hotel has much more to be improved, but I have a glance... More
