Nice clean room, poor breakfast, friendly people, poor english speakers like the most of brazilians. Very nice neighborhood for nightlife with bars with live music and great food and drinks but also weird people.
Arcos is, as expected an old hotel located in the bohemian streets of Lapa. The locations is full of bars, dance clubs and restaurants.

I think they have a smoking room as an option. Shuttle no but they can help call the taxi although I really struggle with communicating with the staff as they don't understand English but if you speak the local language then... More

Shuttle no but they can help call the taxi although I really struggle with communicating with the staff as they don't understand English but if you speak the local language then you should be ok. I used Uber while I was there. They tried to charge me when I brought one of my friend to stay in the room. However I argued that I have booked a double room although I was staying alone initially.
