Nice, friendly and welcoming staff! Good caipirinhas. The condition of the building/hostel is quite poor (mold and holes in the ceiling of bathrooms etc.). All the bathrooms were cleaned every day though. The floor of our dorm was quite nasty, not cleaned at all. Make...More

Ive been to many countries many hostels, this one is by far my favourite great atmosphere very fun, everyone is always happy and willing to help and show you a great time you get a really good feel of the real Río de Janeiro
Just want to start this off with I think the 99% of the staff here are great and super friendly.
I came here on a recommendation from a friend, saying the book a single dorm not the shared ones. He said it was perfect.
I went with 20 friends and somehow the hostel was capable to allocate all of us together.

The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
