The best asset of this hotel was the location very close to the subway. Staff is friendly and welcoming, and the rooms, hallways are very clean. Did not have any issues with the infamous "stuff disappearing from rooms" guests in Rio sometimes talk about. Breakfast is provided although there's not much to choose from. I stayed here for a week during the Olympic Games. It was not a cheap choice because of the Games, but this place was of great value. The location was great by Catete metro station. There were small shops and restaurants nearby and Catete Palace is situated almost opposite of the hotel. The area felt safe. Easy access to metro...

I have stayed in this hotel for 4 days and find it, as expected, a very simple basic hotel which is conveniently located in terms of public transportation and everyday shopping.
