I visited Rio over World Cup days, so the decisions was made from options available at the time of booking Notwithstanding "suit up" welcome staff efforts and cheering up desk attendants' performance, the overall impression from the hotel is luckwarm, at most. In this centrally located property next to the subway station, interior is outdated, bed uncomfy and a pool...

The room was small and smelt strange on entry. Bed was also not the best. No view at all from the room. The worst thing was the noise that the pipes made when other rooms were using the bathroom, I didnt need to set an alarm clock. On the bright side, the internet was quite okay. The staff were helpful...

I was born and raised in rio. I became astonished with the transformation of the last decade when it comes to having tourists from all over the world. However, along with the demand, comes the overly priced hotels, restaurants etc. If you want to stay around Leblon and ipanema, this review is not for you. Nonetheless, consider this hotel. It...

Excellent location, nice spacey rooms, excellent buffet breakfast, good variety of fresh fruit, juices all kind of bread, meat etc…….. Did not try Lunch or Dinners. Bar all the time open. Internet is excellent. Lobby is quite spacey. All Hotel staff do speak good English and are quite efficient.

In terms of category this a solid 3 star heading for four. The hotel has clearly had an extensive refurb and our 8th floor room was spotlessly clean and more than adequate . At R325 for a centrally located hotel it is not at all expensive by Rio standards and offers excellent value. The bed was supremely comfortable and the...

Near flamengo and botafogo, a step from the metro and close to center, the hotel is a fine place to stay. Friendly and helpfull staff, interesting people, pleasent neighbourhood and a fantastic breakfast.Yet to expensive. Wifi is weak wich may cause difficulties and some great Rio attractions are far but that's always the case in this huge splendid (numbet 1...

The staff was courteous and helpful. The facillities were clean and well maintained. I liked the downtown location for business. Nearby parks, statues, and architecture of historical significance was an added bonus.

The place is well located if you are on a business trip. They have a superb breakfast and rooms are OK. They charge you for an early check in (actually the guy at the door say they did not have rooms and where I told him I was willing to pay he mentioned he had a room). The check out...

Has most of the things you need for work: dependable internet, large work area, strong coffee, close to Metro, restaurants nearby, quiet room, good AC. The work chair could be better. The breakfast has muesli and fruit so you don't gorge on Brazilian cakes. The windows in the cheap rooms only open to the light well, or pay extra for...

The hotel is at the area of Flamengo, out of downtown, the rates are high for what you get. The person who took care of my lack of will to help. My reservation was not found and no matter that I took a flight at 6am he didn´t do a thing to assist me. When he finally found it (7...
