If you like the Copacabana beach, this hotel's location gets you there within 2 blocks. The rooftop has a good glimpse of Christ the Redeemer, which is nice. But there were not enough sockets in the room - there was just 1 in the bedroom...More
Let's start with the good - breakfast and helpful front office; that's it! otherwise pretty average. Room awful, A/c on and set at 18 and like a jet engine, or off ( for quiet) and roasted.
Hotel very tired, run down and not recommended
Let me start by saying I did not have a terrible stay here. But I can only speak based on my 8th-floor room which was severely outdated and some fixtures were crooked or had holes in the wall. We also had a random third single...More
We stayed in a Mirasol hotel while visiting Rio. Hotel is clean, breakfast is good, location perfect, one block behind Copacabana Palace with lots of stores around and bars. 200m to Copa beach. Near metro. Good price for good value. Would recommend. Max working on...More

The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
