Location is very good must admit, short stroll to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. Good breakfast, small rooms and unfriendly stuff. But everything will be OK for 3 nights if money didn't magically disappear from locked safe deposit box. I had about $800 US in $20...More
The room wasnt super big but it was very comfortable, and so was the bed. The location is also convenient, walkable distance to many places including the beach. The service and staff was good. Overall a quite nice experience, would come back!
This hotel is ideally situated between Copacabana Beach and Ipanema Beach and is two blocks away from the white sandy beaches of Copacabana

The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.

I believe that there is on the side parking for hotel guests. Having visited Rio some 40 or 50 times, I feel compelled to likewise tell you that it's not exactly the city you want to drive in. Public transportation is excellent including Uber. You can walk from Copacabana to Ipanema in minutes. Parking is never easy anywhere in Rio. Driving patterns are completely different in Brazil....
The question I really ask is: why rent a car in Rio???? Are you imagining that Rio is like an American city just in South America and signed in Portuguese?
