My husband and I spent two nights here on a quick turnaround trip to Rio. We decided last minute to fly in for two nights from Cumbuco when visiting Brazil in November. This hotel was perfect for what we needed. The room was basic but comfortable and the free breakfast was delicious and had such a big variety. The location...

Pro's: Location - Just 5 minutes walk from the beach and it is in a decent area Cleanliness - The rooms were cleaned well daily. Staff - Really friendly and helpful Con's Wi-Fi was down for 24 hours during our stay The two lifts were tiny, and one only worked intermittently. The balcony are the smallest i have ever seen...

We stayed here towards mid-December for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The staff here are very friendly and willing to do anything to help their guests out. Upon arrival at the hotel, I had left my cell phone in the cab, and one of the hotel staff chased down the cab as best as he could, but couldn't catch...

A nice/safe 10 minute walk to Copacabana beach, with excellent breakfast, helpful staff, nice room, and strong wifi connection. While the new year's rate was too high, I would return off-season and like it even more with a more reasonable rate

Breakfast ok for the price. Rooms and bathroom basic but clean. Located about a 10-15 minute walk from the beach. Some restaurants nearby. Metro station not too far neither. Rooms towards street (most) are very noisy and the AC as well. In general, Copacabana is noisy (traffic). Better head for Ipanema or Leblon area.

Excellent location, very good neighbourhood, 5 minutes walk from Copacabana Beach and also 5 minutes walk from subway station Sigueira Campos. The staff was very nice, with good English skills and always eager to help. However, we had a very small room, with a tiny window overlooking the external ventilation system (could not even check the weather from our room)....

i stayed here with my son and it was a very pleasant stay. The front office staff, but for one, all speak a english and are very helpful. The rooms are nice and spacious, although ours did not have any view. The aircon is a life saver! Breakfast, nice variety, lots of pastries. The location is great, a 5 minute...

no idea where to start. I actually stayed in this one before and should have recalled my own review but sometimes a roomrate was so tempting you forget all the bad stuff. This place is full of it. Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
